My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Conceived by introverted extra terrestrial existentialists in a fit of animus during a clinical study of anthropomorphic sterile environments on philosophical tender about causality in art, my early years represented a sharp learning curve of breast feeding and learning to use the toilet on my own.
I suppose these would be my primary skills.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
writing fiction. sci fi and historical fantasy mostly. Trying to. Got these two projects a bit bogged down just now so I just do something else for a while.

work in bar/hospitality. Was night managing a city café for a bit just recently, been with a local theatre/function centre for some years, am looking at a licensed café up the mountain for a second job, I like trees.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
sometimes I game mod, which is a bit of project to figure out the shell tools and scripting. Have done some flight modelling that made its way into an expansion for a popular flight sim, some other RPG related stuff using the aurora shell. Javascript, basic stuff, self taught. I'm not really very much an expert but it was just some fun and interesting. You know because I don't have a girlfriend and sex.

I'm a secret agent. I'm not very good at that job obviously.

Books: nonfic, almost exclusively. Honestly I've read a grand total of 4 fictional books in my life iirc. Star Wars back in 1978, an Aasimov short story collection in 1985, River God by Wilbur Smith in 1995 and I'm reserving one value because there's bound to be one more I'll remember later.
As for nonfic, since I started primary school, we always moved around a lot, so you can't keep a lot of long term friends and you're perpetually the scared new guy. What I did was I set myself a task: every new school I have to read out the entire nonfic section of the library before we move away again.
Yes I read a lot of books.

Occasionally I find the idea of throwing popcorn at the screen more entertaining than the movie itself (think romantic comedies). I like political thrillers with competent screenplays, satirical or dark comedies, anything sci fi but lean to space opera over dystopia unless very well written; adventure/fantasy but again the genre only has extremes of excellent and terrible; cross over horrors that aren't slasher movies. And bio/documentary fictionalisations/dramatisations. Mostly.

I love documentaries, shows like Scrubs and Big Bang Theory (on dvd, not big on commercials), most sci fi (BSG over Red Dwarf say), most criminology and courtroom dramas (CSI Miami and NCIS NY must be regarded as satirical comedy I'm afraid) .

Music is very close to my heart. I just want to hug artists despite their restraining orders. Maynard James Keenan why have you stopped answering my emails bud? Sarah Blasko's going to do me one of these days, he'll see.

I like cooking. I just make it up as I shop and throw it together when I get home, but I like tapas meals and antipasto garnishes on fairly light mediterranean styles mostly. I work in the industry now, which was a nice change from the predators in the auto industry or morons in security.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Laser eyes and a timely acquittal are right up there near the top
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
This is a trick question.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. I like nights. On a free night a starlit picnic sounds cool.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like Tori Amos and odd things.
And this is actually a real profile and I am most interested in meeting an odd/funky/smart woman who'd give me the time of day, I'll worship her and lay dead birds at her feet but would probably feel bad if I didn't try to resuscitate them.

I don't really take it all that seriously, not going to shoot myself or anything.
