My self-summary
I'm the kind of person who has trouble selling themselves via short essays and questions.

Also... Thanks OkC, for the backhanded compliment of a personality tab.
What I’m doing with my life
It's a delicate balance between preparing for the future and remembering to enjoy the present.
I’m really good at
Is this the part where you're supposed to brag and show off? I've never really been a fan of that. It seems like everything I'm good at is more about being efficient or to entertain myself, not to impress people. Sometimes I get lucky and those things do impress people, but I've never sat down and thought, "I don't really like spinning plates, but I bet it'd be awesome to bust that out at a party. Better start practicing."
Spoiler alert: I can't spin plates. At least I've never tried so far. Who knows? Maybe it isn't that hard.

That said, I do have a knack for creating sounds that capture precise moments and memories. Kind of like how when you smell cookies it'll take you back to your childhood, but with music instead. I'd probably loose track of time without them.

The first things people usually notice about me
Let's be real, the shaved head and nosering probably. The way I don't properly introduce myself might be a close second. I donno.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Avoiding lists here is pretty hard.
Lately I've been reading internet articles and borrowed paperback, listening to sad dudes shouting and old shoegaze, watching comedies on netflix, and eating apples like there's no tomorrow.

Just ask and I can get more specific. It's not like I'm not trying to be mysterious or anything. I just feel like it must be exhausting to skim through a bunch of titles and names for something you recognize over and over. I'm always down to experience new art/media/food so if you're passionate about something I'm not familiar with, it just means you can introduce me. It's like a win-win or something.
The six things I could never do without
Phone
Friends
Walking
Loop pedals
Cats
Sunlight

Those might not be in order.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The difference between perception and reality and how they rarely seem to align.
Why it's so hard for cis men to acknowledge their privilege and stop treating everyone like dirt.
How to explain to said men they're doing that without them writing me off as a "liberal brainwashed feminist traitor" and turning into stubborn brick walls. (Litterally have been called that before.)
How much planning would be involved to perform ambient sets for an audience?
Who would want to see that?
Should I just host a show myself with a hookah and close friends first?
Gender fluidity and my habit of holding onto misandric beliefs.
Where are all the hidden skate spots in Chapel Hill?
What famous photograph would be funniest for me to photoshop my face onto?
I bet that would look even weirder with 3D glasses on.
On a typical Friday night I am
Drinking with friends, skating downtown, or making noisy sound loops.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I just finished a phase of bouncing around couch surfing and am actually thrilled to be paying rent and living a normal life. Who gets excited over that?
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22–29
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
If you can understand that I'm pretty shy at first and will probably be too intimidated by how awesome you are to send the first message.

But alsoalsoalso, if you're trying to bake Cheesy Blasters, let's make that happen. I don't know anyone else who's willing and I don't want to do it alone.
