Hey there, my name is Zach. I'm a junior at University of Texas at
San Antonio. I enjoy science, technology and working with my hands.
As far as religion goes, I really don't care what other people
believe so long as they don't try to force it upon others or use
their beliefs as justification for intolerance, ignorance or
discrimination. I love to discuss philosophy and religion, as long
as it is a disscusion and not mud slinging contest. I'm interested
in understanding other people's beliefs and learning how other
people think. I'm terribly loyal to those I consider to be my
friends and family, but I will always tell you what I think.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I'm working to complete my Bachelor's degree in physics.
I also work part-time as a grader/TA for the physics department.
After that, I plan on looking for a career; most likely in a STEM
field. I enjoy fixing and building things and currently I am
rebuilding a motorcyle.
I’m really good at
Making things up
The first things people usually notice about me
NOTHING! I'm a ninja.
Just kidding. I had no idea how to answer this, so I polled my
friends. They said: intelligence, confidence, boyish charm, good
personality, very respectful, and how laid back and accepting I am
of most things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: It has been awhile since I have read anything for pleasure,
but I generally enjoy Fantasy and Sci-Fi. Snow Crash is a favorite
of mine. I have read the Twilight series, it was ok.
Movies: I love watching movies. Not a big horror fan, but it really
depends on the film. Favorites include: Army of Darkness, Boondock
Saints, Fight Club, LOTR, The Hobbit, Princess Bride and Moulin
Shows: I don't watch alot of "actual" tv (I have Netflix), but the
shows I semi-regularly watch are Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead
and Supernatural. I also loved Stargate and MacGyver.
Music: I'm a big fan of older music. Classic Rock, Crooners, 80's
and before really. Even some classical on rare occasion.
Food: Mmm, food. I enjoy most foods with a few exceptions. I don't
like spicy foods, peppers, and some vegetables. I am usually
willing to try most things at least once.
The six things I could never do without
I don't like this question, so instead I'm going to write the top
six things I carry with me almost everywhere I go. Why? Why
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever pops into my head really. My train of thought is easily
On a typical Friday night I am
doing something. Either I'm working on something for school/work,
hanging out with friends, or having a relaxing evening at home
watching videos or working on the bike.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
What do you want to know? As far as I know, I have nothing to hide.
You should message me if
We have something in common, you just want to talk, you are
interested in me, or if you just decide you want to message me.
Really, you can do it just because you want to. I won't force your
hand. If I message you and you aren't interested, please say so if
it's not too much trouble. That way I'm not stuck wondering and I
know not to message you again. Thanks!
