I'm a little leery of OKCupid now, since I was having some great correspondence with a few people... then suddenly they stopped existing on the site... D:

I'm not very self-centered at all, so I find it hard to write about myself.

I'd say I'm an interesting person, in the way that I have alot of interests! Most of them Nerdy, such as Computer and Technology, Vidya Games and Tabletop games, and Science. However, I'm also interested in Psychology and Travel quite a bit as well. I particularly like European History and culture. Overall, I'd say I'm a bit of a knowledge sponge.

This probably makes me sound boring as hell. In reality, I'd like to think I'm not :P. Most of my life I've been fairly un-social except for my close friends, but ever since I moved in with a few of those friends, I think I've really come out of my shell.

Sorry If I end up sending you long messages. I'm fairly reserved in person, but I tend to make up for it on the internet or other text based forms. Ask any of my friends, however, and after you get to know me I'll socialize as much as anyone.

I last worked for Apple Computers in Elk Grove. I don't really like Macs, but the pay was good and not too far away. It was just a temp. assignment though, unfortunately. Now I'm just starting a job all the way in Sacramento working for Metaverse Mod Squad! Basically, It's my job to keep various social MMO's free of trolls and haters! It's a long commute, and the pay isn't the best, but it's working on something I enjoy and I really like the company. Plus, it beats being unemployed like I was for almost a year. I can't wait to move back into town.

I plan on going back to school at some point, at least for an Associate degree. Probably in History. When I went to Consumnes River Community college before I majored in Computer Science, but more and more I realize that, while I love computers, when it comes to school I think History and some other traditional pursuits are better suited for me.

Video games I imagine. Although I'm sure that's only impressive to a limited number of people. My friends say I'm good at research... Some other friends say I'm really good at Understanding them and making them laugh.

I'm also great at learning stuff... but had issues doing homework so my teachers never believed me until the tests came. ^__^;

Probably my size. Sure, I'm not skinny, but aside from that, I'm pretty large in general. At 6 foot 3 inches, I spend most of the time in crowds looking above everyone. ;)

My main problem is that I like so many things, its hard to choose a favorite. Here's a summary:
Book: World War Z. Runners up: Blink, Ancient texts like The Odyssey and the Book of Five Rings, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Movie: Kung-pow, Enter the Fist. Also: Clockwork Orange, and Avatar
Music: Bowling for Soup. Secondary: Pendulum, Cake, E Nomine
Food: Thats hard D: Sushi... Cheesesteaks... Vietnamese Pho... Canadian Bacon Pizza... Ceaser Salad... Sourdough Bread... That's enough for now.

If you ask me about it, I'll say I don't like horror movies, but I Enjoy Zombie Movies... even if they happen to technically be in the horror genre.

Interesting Things

the future. Sometimes just 5 mins ahead , sometimes 5 years. Rarely do I set any solid plans, but I like to have an idea what I'll be doing after I finish whatever I'm doing currently.

Probably on my computer, playing games with friends online or Stumble(upon)ing new websites. Sometimes its hanging out with friends and playing some Games in person or watching a movie. Occasionally it's going out to laser tag, where the graphics are way better! ^__^

Recently it's been running a DnD game for my friends. It's great fun. I'm sure half the people who read this will go "DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS! YUCK" but if that's your attitude... well it's who I am so I guess this will work as sort of a filter then.

My secret dream job is a stand-up comic. >__>;

you want to pursue a possible relationship and are either nerdy yourself, or can put up with it. ^_- Even if it turns out to just be a friendly one. Really, all I require to really enjoy a person's company is an open mind. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking for love though. After being led on by the same girl for something like, oh, 5 years now, I'm pretty ready to move on!
