My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Thank you for visiting!

I'm much better in person than in a random self-summary paragraph. I'm funny (at least in my own head), and smart. I relish good conversations and interesting adventures. There's much much more.... but you'll have to meet me to experience it all.

I'm looking for a connection. I'm open to all the possibilities. Let's meet and see if there's anything to build on.

I'm a funny, energetic and generally happy person. I'm naturally curious and love to learn new things. I appreciate music and art and hope you do as well.

I'm not interested in dating anyone from outside the Seattle area. I want real human interaction, not texts.

I'll almost always be smiling and would love to share some of my evenings with someone who appreciates all I have to offer (and is willing to learn what those things are).

I could be the person that changes your life, or someone that you have a couple of cool dates with or you may not remember me five minutes after you leave our first meeting, regardless, isn't it exciting to see which it is?

Like a superhero, there's lots of layers to me. Let's meet and see what happens!

"I think dating, at least at first, is about finding someone that is fun to be around and engaging and happy. OK, thoughtful and interesting too. Ideally someone that can challenge you and make you think and whom you can respect and admire while also helping you feel really relaxed and accepted and at ease. Adventurous, energetic and outgoing is good. Someone unafraid of being stupid and hilarious and ridiculous can be awesome. And someone you think is hot. I don’t really have a checklist or formula, but some combination of the above, I think is good."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am having fun, laughing as often as possible, occasionally getting annoyed, learning about different things, and solving problems.

I'm a big observer of people and situations. I love experiencing new things and figuring out better ways to be.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
bunches and bunches of things... or nothing at all - depending on my mood and what we're talking about.

I strive to keep learning. I have the ability to keep lots of little bits of information about lots of different things in my rather crowded brain, which makes me pretty good at trivia.

I'm also a very good planner!

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I read and I read and when I get tired, I read some more. I'll read most anything. Let's talk about our favorite books! I'm a sci fi and fantasy junkie.

Movies: I love movies. Love them! Generally I really love movies made by people who really love movies. I also have a weakness for really bad good movies and really good bad movies!

Music: There is music I don't listen to, but I can find someone or group in every single genre of music that do I like. A friend recently said, "music sounds like feelings feel" and that is very true for me. My music reflects my mood, my surroundings and my intentions. I enjoy going out and listening to live music, the good, the bad and the ugly!

Food: I love a great meal! Mexican and Italian are my favorites. I will skip the 'just okay' cafe to wait for the 'amazing food' cafe no matter how long the line.

Drink: I'm a wine and bourbon girl (no, not together!). I really love trying different wines as well as drinking the wines I know I love. Bourbon is my drink of choice on most outings. I like how unique every bourbon is. Naturally, it reminds me of some of the joys of wine.

Other stuff:
Yes, I like to travel and have lived in a foreign country. I only have one state left to visit to finish my 'tour' of the U.S. Let's plan a trip!

I enjoy many different activities like hiking, biking, museums, wandering through unique stores, playing games (video and board), and swimming. I also like trying new things, so introduce me to something new!!

I'm a sports fan, but you don't have to be. I'm not a crazy paint my face, decorate my house in team colors and refuse to do anything during game times, but I can TALK about football, soccer, cycling, and hockey.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Six! Limiting me to six?!?!? How about a rotating 6.... a different group every day:=) I can always come up with six things i can't do without!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the moment; the next trip; the 'stuff of life' (yeah not deep stuff more like laundry stuff); where I'm going (that's the deep stuff); and what to read next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
hanging out with friends, getting ready for the rest of the weekend, crashing on the couch or doing other typical things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't like balloons.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you want to;
you're looking for a great catch;
you want great conversation;
you like geeking out on scifi, fantasy, pop culture, music, sports, etc.;
want to take me out for a motorcycle ride; or
something in all this appeals to you.

Bonus points if you have/like tattoos, love to have conversations about deep stuff and fluffy stuff, read books, listen to (and like to go see) music, are up for both spontaneous and planned adventures, and are willing to try new things and to keep repeating the good ole oldies!

Why not send a message (or reply to mine if I send one to you, even a "no thank you" is appreciated )? Isn't that why we're here?

December 2015: I'm taking a break from sending out messages, if you're interested in meeting me, send me a message and I'll reply. That being said: write more than "hi", "hello", or "sup, yo". if there is something unique only to you, you could tell me all about your favorite volunteering gig, your pie spinning abilities, or your hello kitty collection. Also, I don't reply if you are out of my age range or live outside the Pacific NW. Thank you!
