My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Am I the only one that finds it amusing that this section is labeled "My self-summary"? Who else would be writing a self-summary on my profile?

I occasionally like creating artwork (Made an album in my photos section so you can see some of it). It isn't something I do often though, maybe once every few months, so I wouldn't really call myself an artist. However I do find it relaxing when the mood strikes me. Now days I do normally do it digitally, but occasionally I'll break out the pencils and paper.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Life, don't talk to me about life. Here I am, brain the size of a planet... :P

I'm a single father who works full time, takes classes full time (MBA), and owns a small side business 3D printing prototypes and other things for people and businesses (and a few other things). When I'm not busy with those things I'm either hanging out with friends or relaxing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reverse engineering anything I see and rebuilding it in my mind.

Talking to anybody. I have a knack for conversation, and rarely have I met a person I could not talk to. This ability strangely does not always translate to internet communication.

Fried steaks are also a specialty of mine.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I totally rock!

But, to be honest I have no clue here.

"You're missing this in your profile:

'The first things people usually notice about me
Jimmy Fallon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Dude, you totally look like Jimmy Fallon"

I don't see it. LOL
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.

World War Z, Lord of the Rings, The Incarnations of Imortality series, Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Myth Inc series, The Disc World series, Good Omens.

Matrix, 28 Days, Interview with a Vampire, Hard Candy, Juno, Grosse Point Blank, I am Legend, Heavy Metal, Ghostbusters, Boondock Saints, The Dark Knight, Shaun of the Dead, Dogma, The Fifth Element, Harry Potter, Benny and Joon, Better than Chocolate.

Lasagna, Lasagna.. Mmm Lasagna.. And sushi, good stuff. I would arm wrestle an alligator in hot oil for perfectly made deviled eggs.

I am a rational man, and because of that I do not eat pie. I will however take a slice of cake. (Actually I prefer pie over cake, but it's a joke... so hey)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Earth
2. Air
3. Fire
4. Water
5. Heart
6. Captain Planet?

After putting more thought into the idea of "things I could never do without" than is probably necessary I came to the realization that I could find a way to cope without everything but the basic necessities for life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A bunch of random things. I normally don't spend too long on any one thing. Solving complex problems of any kind can grab my focus for a few days though.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Fridays are daddy-daughter bonding times. Thursday is more my Friday. On Thursday I'm pretty much always at Hammerspace KC, which is a really cool maker space with wonderful people. Even if you aren't interested in talking to me you should check it out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am Spartacus!

Sometimes I talk in my sleep (Scandalous!).

I'm a volunteer moderator for this site. That basically just means I get to vote on content (pictures, messages, etc) that people flag as inappropriate. It has unfortunately led to me seeing way more pictures of men's nether regions that I ever cared to.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like my profile, you need a good friend, or you are bored.

You are an alien from another planet.

I am also looking for a sufficient Arch Nemesis. We could thwart each other's dastardly plans and have great hero/villain dialog together. Heroes or villains can apply.

You need something made on a 3D printer, I suppose.
