The things in life that are most fulfilling to me are understanding systems, learning, and making things. "Systems" could range from the human brain to the makeup of a computer, "Learning" can range from biology, the function of an algorithm, to the rationale for human behavior, and "Making" might apply to a pipeline to process fMRI data, designing a database, a website, graphic, the perfect present for a friend, or a new method in my research. I am happy when I am productive, efficient, and challenged.
I am defined by my responsibility, reliability, and commitment.
I'm definitely one who enjoys routine, and I'm very practical in
how I spend my time. I am also a morning person. I naturally wake up with (and sometimes before) the sun, am active and productive in the morning, flying around campus for classes and work during the day, and when my energy stores are all used up I like to go home to relax in the evening.
I don't think that there is a match out there for me, but I think that as I get older it would be meaningful to have just one relationship that is akin to biological family. However, the whole couple-dome dynamic that others seem to want so badly seems kind of monotonous. It seems much more ideal to have an occasional adventure partner, or a friend to play computer games with :O)
