I am overwhelmed, carbon-based, and quite the animal.

My Self-Summary

Well, let's just say I love good music. Listening to it, writing it, playing it. I have one more year of college, and then I'll be a teacher. I have a love/hate relationship with Wichita, KS. I like feminine girls that like girls. :)

Music taste is key, though. If we have similar music tastes, we are highly likely to be the best of friends.

What I’m doing with my life

It seems I am becoming more and more involved in anything associated with women's and gay rights.

Also, I am becoming a teacher. I have one semester left of actual classes, and then I will student teach next spring. My ideal age to teach is middle school, but my endorsement will be grades 6-12 for physics/science.

I currently work at a middle school. I help kids learn math and science. They can be a handful, but they can also be pretty freakin' cool.

I am also a musician. I play at open mic nights about once a week, and try to do at least a couple shows every month. I've been paid to play - can you believe it? It was $75 to play for one hour. Oh, and I've gotten all the free beer and food I've wanted while playing at this awesome bar. Gosh, the perks of being a mediocre musician.

I’m really good at

Spelling, writing, pre-calculus mathematics, writing songs, being the center of attention, being nice, being weird, drawing (sometimes), sucking up, doing things right, juggling three objects of similar or equal mass, making coffee creations, ...being weird.

The first things people usually notice about me

1) I smell good.
2) In public settings, I try to dress nicely.
3) I am creepy.
4) I like to make jokes. Really stupid jokes. :)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Fast Food Nation, Reasons to Live, A Lesson Before Dying, Survivor, Running With Scissors, The Great Gatsby, The Grapes of Wrath, Inherit the Wind, Siddhartha, The Stranger, The Plague. Anything by Tennessee Williams, Chuck Palahniuk, e.e. cummings, or Albert Camus.

Sexy, sexy ladies.

The six things I could never do without

I think I could do without "things" in general, but if I had to choose, I would say: my guitar, music library, food, freedom, my bike, my legs, vegetables.

Yep, that's seven things. I don't follow rules.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The song "It's A Fire" by Portishead.
Also, the future. Sigh.

On a typical Friday night I am

Working, hitting up galleries, playin' shows.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

vagina
