My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Organizer, yogi, vegan-ish, goal oriented, but I try to not take myself too seriously. I'm socially conscious, but I'm also aware of my limitations. I also live a very healthy and active lifestyle: I practice yoga and run regularly, eat lots of fruits and vegetables, and I teach fitness classes. But then my grandma's chocolate cake and fried okra ruins me every time. Every time!

I used to live abroad (Israel, then Syria, then Palestine) and have traveled extensively, so I appreciate new experiences, other worldly folk, and seeing new places. Though I have a soft spot for the Deep South.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a non-profit but I'm exploring ways to create a more thriving and unconventional lifestyle. I most recently was working on the Obama campaign in NC...though I normally consider myself a political/news junkie, I am enjoying taking a break from the political world, and hoping to be a certified yoga teacher soon.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
headstands, making green smoothies, cooking (mostly) vegan food, registering people to vote
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to laugh a lot and have a very dry sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

books: the help, memoirs of a geisha, the catcher in the rye, the secret lives of bees, the kite runner, the world to come, eat love pray, the fall of giants

tv shows: the west wing, friday night lights, the newsroom, how i met your mother (the earlier seasons only), madmen, downton abbey, glee (I can't help it), the bachelor/bachelorette (it's my guilty pleasure), stephen colbert, the daily show

food: sushi, green smoothies, anything that is healthy and fresh!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. my yoga mat
2. my passport
3. sushi (hence the vegan-ish)
4. coffee
5. coffee
6. did i say coffee?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I will travel to next. Or what I am going to cook tonight.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you are funny, care about the world around you, and are driven and motivated, but not so much that you end up being boring or take yourself too seriously. Also don't message me if you voted for Mitt Romney or if you didn't vote at all. Or if you are a duke fan, don't bother.
