What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Workwise, I'm a classical music announcer for Kansas Public Radio. Otherwise, I spend my time waiting to get fascinated by something. Recently, that's meant reading books about the human brain, catching up on the ever-growing list of movies I've missed, and strolling downtown Lawrence humming observations to myself.

Not sure where life goes from here other than the boneyard. I just hope to have the laundry done by then.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I really don't know what my aces are; don't think in those terms. But I'm a not-too-shabby poker player. And they say I sound fairly pleasant when I've got something worth saying.

I've got a sense of humor; not a joke teller but I do have some. Good ones that take 52 seconds to tell.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't know why food lumped in with books movies and music. Food is not like books, movies or music. I can't enjoy food the same way I enjoy a movie like Amadeus. And a pizza is not a haunting story of rage and vengeance unless it's been poisoned.

But even so, we'd recognize each other if you've spent time with Mike and the bots on the Satellite of Love or if you agree that Will Ferrell isn't in the same league as Bill Murray. And romantic comedies are fine as long as they're made by Woody Allen.

You a Doctor Who fan? We'll have much to discuss.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
There's a small gland near the human inner-ear that regulates your sense of balance and orientation within space. I suppose it'd darken my days if mine fell out of my head.

In honesty, perhaps the one thing I truly need is a small daily portion of time, small matter of hours, to be alone. Everything else is negotiable.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Now that life is sweet again, I'm going to spend time thinking about one day hosting my fictional NPR program called "Gruesome Shit". Title needs work.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually downtown.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can be untidy.
