My favorite mentor used to always tell me to trust the process, things will happen as they should. So I've been trying hard to embrace life, do everything that I love, do new things that I've always been too timid to try, and live my life mindfully. So far it's been absolutely awesome. So perhaps you'd like to join me in my pursuit to take full advantage of everything this city has to offer.

Here are some important things about me:
I moved here on a whim, and I haven't looked back. I've had some of my greatest struggles and greatest triumphs since moving here.

I love laughing and people with big personalities.

I need those in my life to be honest with me.

I love to travel, and if I'm not on a plane every few months I get a little restless.

I'm really open to trying new things and I consider myself to be very adventurous. You wouldn't find yourself sitting around hanging out at home too often with me.

Saving the world! Well, I like to think so anyways.

I work as a therapist, and there is a rarely a dull moment during my work day. All good things!

Enjoying seeing the sights and sounds as a transplant. I've been working hard to get to know people in this this town, so I've joined a tennis league, crossfit, rogue running, and have been attending random meet up groups. I think I fall more in love with this city every day. It's definitely getting serious.

Trying new things, making new memories, and having fun. I'm also really good at drinking coffee, being sarcastic, and coming up with whacky recipes made of random things in the pantry that need to be used up.
I'm also good at going on adventures. I'm up for a road trip tomorrow if you are.

If I had to guess I'm sure it would be my quick wit, unbelievable sense of humor, and my kind and approachable nature. Of course, I'm probably wrong... but lucky for you I think you'll figure it out when we first meet.

Movies- Mostly comedies. Movies that I could watch a millions times would probably include rat race, once, love actually, monty python movies, and boondock saints. I have terrible taste in movies so please don't judge too harshly.

Books- Life of Pi, middlesex, and the kite runner, glass castle, hunger games, and then some ridiculous cheesy romance novels have also found their way to my kindle. yikes.

Music- GUSTER, Matt Ryczek, Ben Folds, Blue October, Dashboard, , Matt Nathanson, weezer, greenday, billy joel, jump little children, keith urban, rufus wainwright, the killers, the fray, the all american rejects, james blunt, a fine frenzy, Colbie Caillet, Sara Bareilles, priscialla ahn, azure ray mika, three days grace, and many more that I'm far too lazy list right now.

Food- I kinda like it all. Sushi, a good salad, soup, and I also like to cook regularly, although I'm a little shy about cooking with/for others as I'm afraid I might give you food poisoning.

friends and family- I couldn't be who I am without them

hugs- the good kind, not those crappy ass-out, one-armed, or car hugs. lame.

adventure- I want to see the world, we don't have many years here, why not explore as much as you can?

sense of humor- Life is way more fun when you can look at the humor in most situations. I never want to be one of those angry types.

Alone time- as much as I love to be around others, I need my alone time too. Time to reflect, time to process. Just time to think is very important to me.

Change- I hope I'm never done growing.

Where my life is going. I'm a young professional with lots of possibilities in front of me. I'm recommitting to the promise I made to myself to always take chances. I'm in a really great place in my life, it would be awesome to share that with someone who wants to be positive and enjoy all the greatness this world has to offer. I'm interested in making memories, and I'd love to share them with someone!

Since I've joined rogue running, I've been staying in most Friday nights. 7 am runs come early ;) But as a general rule, I like to be out and go explore. Whether it's new music, a new restaurant, or new people, I am always up for new adventures.

I hope to one day move to Europe. Scary, huh. Oh, and one time I accidentally spit beer into one of my favorite friend's face. Think three stooges spray. Thankfully she still loves me.
