My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to think that I'm fun, smart and a good guy

The women I've fallen for over the years, have all tended to love to laugh, have many interests, be "sound" (the Irish equivalent of a Mensch) and sexy (a great smile and a body that nobody could mistake for a man's :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'll tell you if we meet...I think life's stories are much more fun when told over a beer or a nice glass of wine
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Keeping questionnaire answers brief :)

Using emoticons!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My Irish accent...I moved to NYC in 1999 after having lived for 8 years in the UK
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Big fan of Pete Hamill

Loved Anchorman (in fact most things with Will Farrell...The Cowbell skit makes me laugh every time I see it, but my favorite skit is still Jon Stewart's riff on Donald Trump and NYC pizza), La Vita e Bella, Dodgeball, Scott Pilgrim v the World; Argo and more recently Silver Linings
Big Bang Theory, South Park, Person of Interest; Elementary and Channel 13

I used to describe my tastes in music as I realize that its just all over the place!

Love Italian, Spanish, Indian & Chinese food in particular

Possibly my favorite expression is - "True nobility of spirit is not being better than anyone else, its just being better than you were before"...I also liked something that I read recently..."We may not control the length of our life, but we control it breath and its depth"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Of course...Laugher, my family & friends
Long walks most days along the Hudson
Reading and I try to catch a movie most weeks
I love the arts - The Met, Frick, opera, Off Broadway, stand-up comedy and also sports (wasn't I smart to pick the Mets and the Jets when I arrived in NYC :)
Spiritual exploration
The feeling on cold water on my face, first thing in the morning
Powerful summer thunderstorms...something I never experienced growing up in Ireland
People who live in gratitude, who are generous, non-judgmental, supportive, loyal and independent.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Things that make me laugh
My family & friends
What we're all doing here (and I'm not talking about being on OK!), Politics
Whether the Mets will ever have a winning season...when I get to this last one, I try to stop thinking :)
and finally..."where the hell did I put my glasses?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday night is sometimes movie night
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm very lucky to have great family & friends and to have full joyful days (most of the time!), but I find sleeping alone is a poor substitute for the passion; laughter; conversation/chatting; cuddling (if cuddling isn't your thing, it's not going to work!); lying-in and the general joy that comes from being cuddled up with a woman with whom I feel that special spark.
Traveling - local or otherwise - is also more fun when shared with someone I care about.

If your idea of a fun night out is laugher, conversation that can go all over the place, with some beer/wine or food thrown in
If something I've written resonates.
