Update : Friday the 13th March, 2015

I just moved here in Feb. What I need most right now is someone/s to show me some highlights. I'm a fan of holes in the wall, places off the beaten path, the places locals go. Let's drink a local craft beer, shoot some pics somewhere, or smoke a hookah and tell me about what you love here in Austin. I'M LOOKING FOR FRIENDS ONLY AT THIS TIME.

I am an artsy, bi, pagan, geeky. I devour books. Some things I highly value are : friends, honor, knowledge, nature, and open-mindedness. My cats are my kids, and that is the way it will remain for me. I however have children in my life I adore, and if you have kids I will probably adore them too!

Two very important things about me: 1. I tend to be blunt. What you see is what you get ... no candy coating. 2. I'm not your ordinary girl. I am not girly or froofy. I can change my own oil (and have, thank you). I ride a motorcycle. I like to sit in trees (and hope to live in a treehouse some day). I can think of something to do with about anything you might throw away (I am damn near obsessed with making stuff out of things others consider trash). Gadgets and shiny things excite me (My Leatherman Micra is one of my most prized possessions). I used to own a 35 foot school bus that had been converted, and I used to live in it. I am a nomad at heart, but value someplace and someone to come home to immensely.

I'm also a down to Earth, farm girl, treehugger, artistic, biker, quirky, easy going, fun BBW. Another animal lover preferred, (I have a cat) I Love : old cars, motorcycles, flea markets, thrift stores, crafting, camping, hiking, canoeing, reading, ren faires, coffee, music, long conversations, 420, a huge beer geek/novice home brewer, and a total hookah freak.

I am Quirky, Adventurous, and Bohemian
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm on a journey of self discovery, who knows what'll happen...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Figuring out how to make things work that no one else will. I am good at getting people to feel comfortable enough with me to talk when they normally wouldn't.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I usually say exactly what I mean, and my boobs.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
1984 by George Orwell, Illusions and One by Richard Bach, The Fith Sacred Thing by Starhawk, The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood, Mother Night, Cat's Cradle and Welcome to the Monkey House by Kurt Vonnegut, Possession by A.S. Byatt, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams are some of the important ones ... although I also like Christopher Moore, Neil Gaiman, Anne MacCaffery, Mercedes Lackey, Laurell K. Hamillton, Terry Pratchett, and most Sci-Fi Fantasy.

This gives you a clue ... one of my friends asked ... "do you ever watch anything anyone's ever heard of?" I watch regular stuff too, just the things I end up wanting to share are often obscure. Cosi, When Night is Falling, or Closet Land are a few examples.

A little bit of everything. I grew up on Country, and played Jazz and Classical. I love Techno, Industrial, and Old Wave, along with Folk/Rock, Ambient and even some Opera.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
EVERYTHING
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hoping to find something to do that won't make it "typical"!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I still sleep with stuffed animals.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Yes I'm very willing to meet, however it will be in public the first time.
