Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am tall at 6-7, but my height does not define me. I have lived in
numerous cities across the US and traveled through more than 30
I write mostly for newspapers but have also written books and am
always working on one, including a novel that I'm working on
turning into a movie. I also do some photography, mostly
landscapes. I have met presidents, actors, and other celebrities,
but I am down to earth.
I have been divorced since 2006 but am very involved in my kids'
lives, as much as they let me since they are 15 and 12. I believe
it is important for fathers to be a big part in their kids' lives,
even if they are divorced.
I keep myself in fairly good shape, as I hike, cycle and work out.
I like to find mountain streams to swim in and hot springs, which
are more in the West than East, to soak in - it's relaxing and
freeing. I try to eat healthy. I'm spiritually aware but don't
really go to church, unless my kids are in a program at their
I like to travel and see new things. I really like the scenic
Southwest, but also enjoy shorter trips to DC or Baltimore. I'm
fairly deep and not materialistic, though I make a decent living
and know you need the greenstuff to live.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

can do it. I haven’t kept doing those things, but it’s fun to try.
I have kept doing things like cycling, photography and

I began my career as a sportswriter and branched off into writing
about travel, politics and business later. I’ve had some photos
exhibited in a gallery and sold at art fairs.
