I am curious, sceptical, and gruntled.
My Self-Summary
Initially I'm a bit quiet, but it doesn't take long for me to start
to get more open/chatty with people.
I guess I could say Im a bit of a geek, working in IT, and having
always had some interest in computers, but I'll happily leave all
the technology behind to do something outdoors/more social.
I love music, and also am learning to play guitar (extremely
slowly! as well as self teaching too).
What I’m doing with my life
trying to figure out what to do with myself in the long term, but
trying to have as much in the meantime. I like getting out of the
city for long rides on my motorcycle, I think eventually I'd like
to ride around Australia when the time is right.
The first things people usually notice about me
Not sure, people I meet don't normally tell me "you know the first
thing I noticed about you was....", perhaps I should be asking them
so I can better fill out this section?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
books: I used to read a lot of fantasy and scifi, but branching out
a bit more, currently reading Souther vampire mysteries after
getting hooked on to true blood.
movies: to give a small sample, some of the favourites in the dvd
collection:fight club , amelie , army of darkness, shaolin soccer.
A little bit of anime is good too, so in other words a broad range
of stuff..
music: mainly rock, bit of metal, and occasionally something I can
dance too, artists such as :
tool ,
nin ,
crystal method , foo fighters ,
machine head
, smashing pumpkins ..
foods: italian, thai, cheese(so many different types) (I think I'd
die if I couldn't eat cheese), drinking: white wines mostly, tried
to like reds but haven't really found anything I've really liked, I
can't drink beer at all (blech!), so the normal drink for me is
cider.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Do I want to stay in the same career, where my life is going, how
can people like eating pineapple on pizza.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately, at home. Occasionally having drinks with friends, but
haven't been too much the social butterfly recently.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
That I'm terrible at writing on cards, be it farewell, birthday,
whatever. Say someone is leaving your workplace, and you see the
witty things people write and think "that's funny", then there's
the one comment there that says something like "Best of luck in the
future", well that's me.
I'm sure this weakness will someday be my downfall.
You should message me if
You think you might have an interesting conversation with me.
