I enjoy various outdoor activities, as well as movies, the occasional museum trip, amusement parks, whatever. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to activities, and generally try to take advantage of opportunities for new adventures when they're presented.
I like to travel occasionally, and have been many places throughout the US, although I've not been outside the United States extensively.
I keep physically fit and healthy, although I'm not obsessed with either notion.
I have an appreciation for good food. I cook on occasion, although I'm more inclined to cook for others than just for myself.
I'm always interested in learning, getting to know good people, and hearing why people think/believe the things that they do, as I find that such interaction helps me somewhat to define why I think/believe the things that I do.
I believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I think people should be socially and environmentally responsible. I appreciate arts, and good causes, but don't generally favor compulsory means to support them.
As for religion, I'm Mormon (Christian). Ultimately, I'm looking to find someone who shares the same values and ideals that I have, with regard to ethics and morality. I respect others' rights to maintain their own beliefs, and have no interest in compelling anyone to think as I do, although I do find theoretical discussion stimulating from time to time. For the most part I find that a choice of religion or spirituality is not one based on physical evidences and deduction, so I'm not interested in discussions about proving right and wrong with regard to those things. That said, I do think that intellect should be applied to all aspects of life as much as is possible. Rest assured, I've come to my religious beliefs after considerable thought and spiritual introspection.
I am charitable, thoughtful, and adventuresome
