My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Dorky, introverted, tongue-tied feminist skier with a slight scarf obsession.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a Business Analyst for the DHB - lots of databases & weird health factoids :)

I've just bought my first home, so I'm looking forward to organising everything for that. Unfortunately, that probably means no more international travel for a few years :(
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Expanding my random shit knowledge base. About the only use for this is being a 'general knowledge' person on a pub quiz team.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The red hair, it's courtesy of the intersection of Irish & Scottish genes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: currently reading Gone Girl (meh) and the October Daye series from Seanan McGuire (excellent).

Movies: OMG Mad Max: Fury Road was fantastic.

TV: Agent Carter, iZombie, Orphan Black.

Music: I'm all over the place, but lately I've been returning to my father's influences - Fleetwood Mac, Joe Walsh, Paul Simon & Joan Armatrading.

Food: as long as it's not celery, coffee or white chocolate, I'm happy. I tend towards Thai-inspired if I'm cooking for myself, but working in kitchens & butcheries as a student means I'm a fan of the perfect medium-rare steak.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Ranch dressing, tea, my bike, snow, all the books (not going to choose, you can't make me)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The NZ healthcare & education systems, whether I should get a dog, what colour I should paint my place when the EQC repairs finally get done (blue-green in the master bedroom, orange in the spare bedroom, neutrals in the bathroom & living/kitchen. Painting starts mid-June, eep!).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Recovering from the week. Saturday tends to be a bigger night for going out, but Friday for me is Thursday for my friends in Europe & the US, so I like to catch up with them.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're a grown adult and can make your own decisions :)
