(The joke is in the fact I was lying about not hating things, heehee.)
I'm kind of really into film, but not at an intimidating pretentious level. I have a tendency to prefer foreign/indie coming-of-age dramas and anything animated. I've covered SXSW and CIFF for the past few years, but I have my eyes set on Sundance in 2014 and Cannes in 2015. Living the dream!
My favorite TV shows are Arrested Development (RIP), Freaks and Geeks (RIP), How I Met Your Mother, Breaking Bad (RIP), Mad Men, and South Park. However, from October to April, the majority of TV watching I do (which isn't even all that much to begin with) is spent watching basketball. I'm a pretty huge stats geek and take fantasy basketball much more seriously than anything else in my life.
A lot of my friends are local rappers on the come-up... like legitimately on the come-up. No name dropping, though. I miss going to house/basement punk shows; maybe I'll try to fall back into the punk scene again.
However, my top five albums ever are "Loveless" by My Bloody Valentine, "Red Medicine" by Fugazi, "Happy Songs for Happy People" by Mogwai, "Bivouac" by Jawbreaker, and "Analphabetapolothology" by Cap'n Jazz.
I live off of a diet of pizza and cereal. I began eating spinach for the first time this past summer, ending the anti-vegetables stance I've held for the past 26 years.
- if I could pull off a nose ring.
Update: I've had my "normal hours" job since May, and I still don't do anything awesome on Fridays, unless you think watching movies and playing video games is awesome... which, in hindsight, is pretty damned awesome.

Really, I'm just trying to make some cool new friends. If things progress, so be it, but I don't want to begin new friendships with this unspoken expectation of something more developing.
