My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I tend to change this every few months because I never really like what's put here. I don't want to be a faux-mysterious asshole and tell you to "message me and find out," but it's honestly hard to summarize myself. I'm into a lot of things, geek out over a lot less things, and truly love and appreciate just a slight couple of things. Honestly, my "favorite stuff" section says more about me than this ever will.

(Side note: All of the pictures on here are ridiculously old. I absolutely hate being in pictures and don't really have any recent ones, and I'm not into taking selfies. Hopefully, you'll think two years ago me is handsome.)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Tweeting about EVERYTHING.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...bullshitting. I have an extremely moral conscience, though, and I'm more than willing to admit when I've fucked up.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Two of my favorite authors are Jack Kerouac and Neil Gaiman. However, the majority of the reading I do these days come in comic book and graphic novel form. My concentration as an undergrad was Cultural, Rhetoric, and Media Studies, so I like to analyze and critique everything I read. I love breaking comic books down into a more literary form while still incorporating the importance of the illustrations and how said illustrations help/hurt the conveyance of the written story.

I've been a film critic/journalist of sorts for almost four years now. Films have played a huge role in my life, both personally and professionally, so it's hard to name some of my favorites (simply because I don't have any). If I had to make a Netflix recommendation, it would be Upstream Color by Shane Carruth.

I don't really care for TV as much as I do film, but some of my favorite shows are South Park, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Breaking Bad (RIP), How I Met Your Mother (RIP), Freaks and Geeks (RIP), and Arrested Development (RIP).

Fugazi and Jawbreaker are the two greatest bands ever.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Chicago Bulls, Video Games, Graphic Novels, Sleep, Music, and Film.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- whether or not I have precognition.
- if I could pull off a nose ring.
- PaRappa the Rapper.
- Olivia Thirlby, Felicity Jones, Susanna Hoffs, and Cristin Milioti.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This isn't really private, but I don't know how to ride a bike. It kinda sucks that everybody rides a bike now.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're into the things I'm into, or you think I'd be into the things you're into, or you want to geek out over geeky things that you wouldn't otherwise normally geek out over.

Really, I'm just trying to make some cool new friends. If things progress past that, cool.
