I am intelligent, poetic, and witty.
My Self-Summary
Some would say that I'm like an enigma wrapped in a puzzle wrapped
in a vest. So yeah, I'm a dork, but I'm funny and friendly too :) I
love creative, intelligent, sensitive people like me, but I also
enjoy being sarcastic and cracking jokes at the expense of myself
or others. I was a creative writing major in college (I love poetry
and literature), and am now (since I am Indian and thus have a
genetic predisposition) getting ready for medical school in August
2009 (see what I mean about the whole enigma thing?). I also have a
penchant for parenthetical statements and for being
self-referential (and for stealing quotes from the Simpsons). If
you're still reading this and are enjoying yourself, you'll
probably like my sense of humor, so message me!
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm finishing up my BA in Creative Writing at Johns
Hopkins. After that, I'll be in NYC getting ready for medical
school. Of course, even as a doctor, I'll always be writing my
poems--it's so much fun for me, but I also take it pretty
seriously; hopefully I can get published in some magazines in the
near future. I love NYC, and visit it as often as I can (I'm a NJ
resident, but don't hold it against me). I've really been looking
forward to living in the city, exploring the parks, museums,
restaurants and other cool, laid-back places.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, holding intelligent discussions about art,
politics, philosophy, etc., staying up late and writing (although I
can't say for sure if the writing is always intelligible...)
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably they notice my sense of humor. It can be really funny or
really awkward, depending on the situation. But I don't mind
awkward, it's my field of expertise :)

The six things I could never do without
Poetry, my friends, my family, wine, the ocean (it makes sense to
me), the internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The meaning of life and what my plans are for Saturday night.
On a typical Friday night I am
At a bar with my friends, relaxing and unwinding with a drink.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am a little shy around pretty girls or girls I like. It's
embarrassing for a guy to admit, I think. Also, I can wiggle my
ears. It's gotten me out of a speeding ticket once, actually...
You should message me if
...if you've enjoyed my sense of humor so far (you'll get a lot of
it, trust me); also, if you're looking for a sweet, sensitive,
honest, fun-loving guy to spend time with and get to know better.
I'm always up for meeting new people, for trying new things. You
don't have to be an artist, or even artistically minded...as long
as you have a passion about something that we can share. I'm
excited to make some new friends in NYC! We'll see what happens
from there...
