Hi. I'm Vin from Watford. I'm new to this so I'm just testing the
waters. I'm family orientated and love to socialise when I can. I
also have a list of things that I want to do in this lifetime.
What I’m doing with my life
I currently work in St Albans for an I.T company doing marketing. I
enjoy doing tai chi and in my spare time I'm learning how to code.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty good at tai chi. It's great for relaxation. It's a bit like the chinese version of yoga in that sense.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not too sure how to answer this question. How are you suppose
to know what people notice. Maybe they notice the fact that I'm
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read self help books like gardening in small areas, but not a novel person as such. Not that I have anything against reading!
I'm a huge movie buff. My favourite movie of all time is American Psycho, but I also love Vanilla Sky, Magnolia, Inception, Memento and all sorts of comedies. I like movies that make you think and also ones that make you laugh. I also love foreign cinema like Oldboy, The Lives Of Others, La Haine, City Of God and Amores Perros.
My favourite show of all time is Chappelle's Show. For TV I mainly watch comedies and footy. I like The Simpsons, Ali G, The Office, Alan Partridge, The Day Today, Peep Show, Fonejacker, Bo Selecta, Scrubs, Brooklyn Nine Nine, but also stuff like The Wire, 24, Breaking Bad, The Apprentice, Dragon's Den and wildlife programmes.
I literally love almost all kinds of music from Dance to Motown to Rock to Hip Hop to even some classical music and scores from movies. A few of my favourites are The Smiths, Michael Jackson, Prince, Jeff Buckley, Thom Yorke, Radiohead, Faithless, The Prodigy and Sigur Ros.
Mmm food! I'm a meat eater. Love the stuff! I like lamb chops and obviously fried chicken but can easily enjoy vegetarian dishes. I like Indian, Chinese, Italian and British foods.
The six things I could never do without
Family, Comedy, Happiness, Love, The bed and Football (Manchester United of course!).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I sometimes think about how the world works and what we're doing back on this rock for yet another cycle. Then I stick on some Bill Hicks and it reminds me it's all just a ride!!!
On a typical Friday night I am
I just go swimming and do the breast stroke for about an hour. I also enjoy changing my plans for the odd night out or spending time with family.
You should message me if
If you're looking for honesty and a caring person to spend time with I'm definately a good choice. I'm completely non-judgemental and accept that we all have a story to tell, so I'm a good listener in my opinion. I can be quite goofy and I like to think I'm hilarious, but can also hold a decent conversation. You should message me if you have similar qualities.
