Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
II'm looking for someone to date. I want a companion for dinner.
Going to movies and museums. A trip to Hill Country or New
I grew up in TX, but I haven't lived here since I went off to
college. I just moved back to Houston from Boston and Philly. Great
to be back near my family and looking forward to making new
I'm adventurous and love discovering new things. I have a liberal
education and have traveled and lived many places. Yes, I'm a
progressive liberal in Texas--rumor has it I'm not the only one. I
love art, music, good food and wine and sharing them with friends.
I'm easy to talk to and have very progressive opinions I'm glad to
share. I'm looking for a smart, adventurous woman to make a
connection with. I'm ambitious in my career, but try to keep it in
balance. I love to travel, or go see a local concert. I'd like to
find someone who wants to go biking, see an exhibit, or go white
water rafting, or chat around a fire. You don't have to like to do
all of them, and I'm open to lot's of other little adventures. A
drink and a bite to eat is a great place to start. What do you
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Figuring it out as it goes. Life happens while we're making plans.
I'm on here because I'd actually like to find someone to date.
Going out for drinks, dinner, or a movie. Or a weekend getaway. Day
at the beach or camping in the hill country. But we can start with
a drink and a bite to eat.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Team building, abstract thought, travel, learning new things.
Cooking. Choosing the right wine. Throwing a fun get together.

I have eclectic tastes from summer blockbusters to indie
documentaries. Right now I'm reading Michael Pollen. Roberto
Calasso's Literature and the Gods is an obscure book I love. I
think Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maitenance should be required
reading. I love live music of almost any kind from a smoky Jazz bar
to Salsa or a great rock band or opera when the mood hits. I love
all kinds of ethnic food as well as American Cuisine from fine
dining to regional. Usually I prefer tapas style. Sitting at a high
top next to the bar nibbling on appetizers over a glass of wine,
micro brew, or a strong martini. And I love to cook. It'd be great
to find someone to cook with. No double entendre intended. ;)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good wine. Good food. Great art. Good books. Travel. Friends. And
great kissing! And Music! I know, seven. But kissing and
music/dancing kinda have to go together, don't you think? ;)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How the corporate food industry is manipulating our lives. How
greed and hate became religious ideals within the Christian right
(what's so hard to understand about "love thy neighbor," and "do
unto others as you would have them do unto you"?). How Americans
forgot the words on the Statue of Liberty and that we are all
immigrants. How anyone can think protecting the environment we live
in is not a good thing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no typical Friday night. But I'd like to be spending it
with friends or on a date or getting ready for a weekend of
