I am ambitious, blindly optimistic, and slightly frightening.

My Self-Summary

Alright people, here's the important bits:

Firstly, I'm a Graphic Designer, and I love my work. i love it more than anything else. it will always come first. family, friends, sex, YOU... as long as it doesn't fuck with my hygiene it's usually safe to say it'll come first. That being said, i still have free time for family, friends, sex and you, but as long as you know your place, you'll be fine.

Secondly, I'm unorthodox in a hell of a lot of ways. I'm smart but not obviously so. sexy, but you'll have NO clue how. sweet, despite my penchant for punk rock and punching things. high strung, but in the most laid back way possible. I suggest you just not try to analyze me because i've broken minds, and the guilt is overwhelming. It's enough to give me the jibblies.

Third, I am one hella intense motherfucker. The jury is still out on whether that's good or not, but i can promise you, you have never met anyone like me before. Even my enemies have recognized that i am quite irreplaceable. I make a good nemesis.

I am all kinds of random. within an hour I will talk about the shittiness of the state of modern music, to the mating habits of tortoises, dip into the raging battle to the death between Helvetica and Futura for the go-to sans serif, ramblings on Descartes' dualism theory, speculations on the average reaction to getting shanked in the stomach with a running vibrator, to how strong self-consciousness is that it can make the french win a war *by proxy*, to what Orwell meant by "Orthodoxy is Unconsciousness" (if you think it's pretty cut and dry, please drop me a line. Like please? I don't know why people are so confused about this one).

So, you. If you think you're smarter than me, love classic and/or punk rock, LOVE your profession, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, ring me up and tell me so. If i like you, i'll even bake you something.

What I’m doing with my life

Leading a simple, yet oddly eventful existence, spending most of my free time doing schoolwork or talking nonsense with my best friends. Seriously, most of the time, i'm working. While most people don't believe me, I love that. I'm in love with my profession and it comes before everything else. even you. you have been warned.

Eventually I will rise to fame and fortune! Or maybe just fame... Or maybe just running my own design house... maybe a tshirt shop thrown in for good measure, who knows.

I’m really good at

Talking. No really, I am. Not only will I talk, at great length, whether you want me to or not, i've also been told i'm a pretty good conversationalist. I'm a pro at being the devil's advocate and can debate anything from any side. I'm also a decent cook, but it's pretty rare i have the time to practice. I'm also really good at making people uncomfortable. normal people fear me and i delight at this. there's no reason for them to, mind you, but some hair dye and some leather accouterments and most people's mind pucker up tighter than a snare drum.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have a very... interesting... way of dressing myself. And presenting myself. This is what i have been told, anyways. Really, I think it's best if you just decide that for yourself.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Breakfast of Champions, Maus, Man's Search for Meaning, The Stranger, The Chrysalids, Haunted: A Novel, Catcher in the Rye, and many design books.

Tip: strike up a conversation about any of these (having actually read them) and you're pretty much in the game.

Movies: Almost Famous, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, High Fidelity, Donnie Darko, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Dogma, A Clockwork Orange, American History X, Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2, Fight Club, The Dark Knight, Se7en, Help!, Pink Floyd's The Wall, Yellow Submarine... and many i've probably forgotten to add.

Music: THE BEATLES, Led Zeppelin, NOFX, The White Stripes, The Kinks, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Green Day, Belvedere, Tool... basically anything classic rock, and some new alternative, with some punk thrown in for good measure. I'm WAY into music.

Food: *shrug*

The six things I could never do without

(excluding the obvious, such as air)...

My kickass green apartment

My super comfy bed

My Laptop, on which my life is stored

My work and the pleasure that it brings

My cuffs, because I feel naked without them. and not the good naked, either.

Darkness, and i'm not trying to be emo here, seriously, i'm allergic to sunlight. it stinks.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Things I should not be thinking about.

On a typical Friday night I am

Typically, i'm doing homework. or slacking at home watching a movie or reading.

Ideally...... working. or slacking at home watching a movie or reading... or, at the pub with friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

i'm not all that private, really. nor are my pleasures ever guilty.

You should message me if

...if you know what's good for you! *shakes fist*
