Hi everyone. I'm an American here studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow. I love any kind of work that involves being hands on, specifically working with animals, wether they be domestic, wild or exotic. I also love art and making art. Back in the States I studied neuroscience and studio art, with a focus in ceramic work and drawing. I'm a firm believer in being somewhat indulgent with my life. I feel like it keeps me happy. A happy life is one worth living.

Hrmm... well i already said that I'm here studying vet medicine. I'm hoping to work with wildlife after I graduate and to specialize in neurology. For fun I like to draw with all kinds of mediums. Now if only I could track down a studio space for me to go play with some clay here.

I'm really good at most things artistic. I'm also very good with children (yeah im sure that sounds creepy but i assure you its just from being a baby sitter for years and years) and im good with most animals. Although cats tend to stay away from me, its kind of mutual. I make a tasty and oh so strong gin and tonic. I also bake really well, it helps me clear my head and as an added bonus i get delicious baked goods.

Depends on where they are looking but usually my eyes or my evil smirk i tend to make (or so im told).

Books: Tales of the Otori series by Lian Hearn, Harry Potter, Black Arrow, Kitchen and Moonlight Shadow by Banana Yoshimoto, and right now I'm (slowly) reading Bram Stoker's Dracula and loving it.
Movies: my top 3 are 1) The Goonies, 2) Grandma's Boy, 3) Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead.
Music: i tend to like a lot of different music but my three favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, and The Doors.
Food: Mmmm... most foods, top of the list are the super spicy ones like Cajun food (oh i miss New Orleans) and thai food.

Everything. I get some really random thoughts sometimes, or i can be very focused (lately ive just been thinking about anatomy for class)... but sometimes i feel like i can just shut my brain down and think of absolutely nothing, which is refreshing.

i used to play laser tag every night in the woods with my friends from 7th to 10th grade... but not just any laser tag. We built bunkers, put up platform things in the trees like hunters use, wore all black or camo to hide well (we went all out). It was awesome.
