so hard. i am an eclectic sort. Books: Anything by Tom Robbins, Richard Brautigan, Charles Bukowski, Chuck Palaniuk, Hunter S., Murakami"s Wind Up Bird book, Klosterman, Poppy Brite, HP Lovecraft, Jane Austin (weird, huh?),Brian K. Vaughn, Grant Morrisson, The Fables Team, Alan Moore.
Movies: diehard movie hound so this is tough. most interested in horror and documentaries, but I love movies in general. Current top 5: Dr. Strangelove, Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover, Salo: 120 Days of Sodom, Texas Chainsaw Masscre and Antichrist. Black Swan is a large honorable mention as one of the best films i've paid half a mortgage payment to see in a theatre in 3 years.
I watch bad reality tv with unabashed shame, but would say House, Dexter and True Blood are the best shows on television, Twin Peaks/X Files were the best tv shows NOT on television, and that I am addicted to all things Whedonesque. And an idiot cancelled Deadwood
Again, very huge ecclectic taste in music. In my CD player right now: Johnson, Johnny Cash: American Recordings, Jane's Addiction (Nothing Shocking), the Black Keys and Jethro Tull.
