Books: Recently read Anthony Bourdain's 2nd book- "Medium Raw". A
book on - Medicinal Mushrooms. Also "Guns, Germs & Steel", a
great book on the development and rise of certain cultures. As far
as real favorite works - that's a tough one to answer really.
TV: Anything Travel Channel, Food Network, History channel, BBC,
Discovery or Nat Geo. Sports - Formula 1, Tennis and Soccer
primarily.
Oh, and "Hardcore Pawn" is pretty captivating as well!
Music: Really a hard one because I am a musician by background. I
like a variety of styles, from classical to jazz to rock (and had
to perform them all as well! Although in the looong past). It
really doesn't matter what type of music or the artist, as long as
it's done well. Quality and originality above all.
I love food and cultures and exploring more... Primarily due to my
eclectic upbringing mixed with inquisitive nature and having lived
in many different places. Sushi, Korean, Vietnamese and Mexican are
some of my favorite. I've lived in Rome, San Francisco, Boston,
London and Moscow in the past. In addition, I've traveled quite a
lot around the world for work in the past 9 years. I was fortunate
enough to have visited some amazing places.
If we connect, perhaps we can share our favorite stories of travel
together?
I've been a New Yorker for 10 years now. Truly an amazing place,
and I can't imagine being anywhere else right now.
