My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Sometimes I wonder if I am defined only by my interests, which largely consist of video & board games, movies, fantasy novels, scripted television, and the occasional comic. Or that I'm defined by how I like dudes and musicals and brightly colored things. Or that I am a four-eyed perpetual learner who sometimes has problems speaking clearly. Or that I am a myers-briggs INTJ. Or that I'm a cute lazy boy who loves to take naps. Or that I am a vegan with a bs BS from UCD.

Do these things sum me up? I think at this point I've gathered enough INT/WIS to say without a doubt "No."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mainly I'm enjoying the ride. It's working out pretty well. When my life is full of games and friends, I'm good.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Remembering things that aren't important, like video game quests from years ago.

Board games.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would imagine it would depend on the context. I can be shy (around strangers), cute (in the right light), bossy (when games are involved), slow (when I am thinking things through), sharp (when I am confident), or aloof (sometimes it comes naturally) when first met.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music The Cranberries (and Dolores O'Riordan), Nellie McKay, Jason Mraz, Fun., Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack, musicals...

Movies Frozen, Earth Girls Are Easy, Hairspray (both versions, but I prefer the musical), Serenity, Pleasantville, Sky High, Mamma Mia!, The Sweetest Thing, cheesy gay movies (e.g. Were the World Mine), Bring it On, Pitch Perfect, 17 Again, more. Lately I've been watching netflix blu rays, so I have my fair share of romantic comedies and fantasy action movies under my belt.

Current Television Agents of SHIELD, Lost Girl, Once Upon a Time, Defiance, Continuum, Orphan Black, Awkward., Switched at Birth, Archer, The Mindy Project, About a Boy, New Girl, Glee, Castle, South Park, Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, Star Wars: Rebels, Adventure Time!

Legacy Television Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Being Erica, The Legend of Korra, Futurama, Party Down, Drop Dead Diva, Warehouse 13, Merlin, all of the Star Trek spin-offs (Voyager being my favorite), Wonderfalls, Pushing Daisies, Kyle XY, The L Word, Popular, Arrested Development, Veronica Mars, Angel, Xena: Warrior Princess, The Legend of the Seeker, Dead Like Me, Ugly Betty, Gossip Girl, Six Feet Under, 30 Rock, 3rd Rock From the Sun, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis - kinda eh about Universe but I still watched it), Sanctuary, Eureka, Farscape, Weeds, Smallville, Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, How I Met Your Mother, Being Human (US), Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008), X-men (The Animated Series, Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men), The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Read or Die

... what can I say, I love having my own little tv marathons - no commercials though, thanks.

Online Media Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, The Guild, The Flog, Tabletop, Co-optitude, Husbands, Very Mary Kate.

Books Favorite authors: Mercedes Lackey, David Eddings, Lynn Flewelling, JK Rowling, Philip Pullman, Rick Riordan, Lemony Snicket, Robin Hobb, Eoin Colfer, Jim Butcher. I kind of am in love with young adult science fantasy.

Food I am vegan, so that limits me a tiny bit. But other than that I am not picky at all and will eat pretty much anything. A few favorites: eggplant, hummus, mushrooms, black turtle beans, brussel sprouts, hot sauce, wild rice, kale, bread.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Games, hope, imagination, free time, sorcery, and that feeling you get when hot water runs down the back of your neck when you move right up against the nozzle in the shower.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever game / show / interest I am currently obsessing over. (Right now - Heroes of the Storm, Eldritch Horror)

Imagining that I can call lightning bolts like Storm.

What exciting thing I'll be doing today. (That is, exciting to me, not necessarily conventionally.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Board games (preferably ones designed within the last 10 years or so), other games, reading, drinks, a movie, a nap, going out(side), and/or whatever strikes my fancy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll admit anything. Shame is for chumps.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you are willing to listen to the music that is playing in my head and sing along with me. (Here I stand, in the light of daaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!)

I'm ultimately looking for someone to share my life with, but I'm not willing to do that with just anyone. I have no idea how to get to that point with a person - so far my plan is to fumble into it somehow.
