My self-summary
A native New Yorker with an open mind and a big heart. I enjoy the city, and it is home, but I also love nature and the outdoors.

I enjoy many things. A movie, music, a hike, a bike ride, a long walk in the city, or an incredible cup of coffee. Capturing moments in time with my camera is something I couldn't live without. Quality over quantity..

I embrace the creative process, mine and everyone else's. I'm a gardener and love designing a living canvas. An afternoon spent with soil and plants is very therapeutic and is great exercise. I keep a blog detailing some of my adventures and am having a lot of fun with it. Always great to hear what someone else is passionate about.

I'm looking to meet another great guy that wants to learn and grow together. If you are open to some great conversation and possibilities, say hello..
What I’m doing with my life
People and technology combined with testing the outer limits of my interpersonal skills..
I’m really good at
- Gardening/Landscaping
- Home improvement
- Coffee... making it and drinking it
- Random long walks
- Turning out a mean brunch
- Offering an honest and objective ear.
- Making others laugh
- Photography
- Creating
The first things people usually notice about me
I resemble someone you know or have seen on TV or in the movies. I'm actually not related to Seinfeld..

My verbiage.

I absorb lots of abstract and potentially useful(less) information.

The hairy chest.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Mostly periodicals. The New York Times, Dwell, and The Next American City are favorite reads.

Some top movies are/were, "Carol", "Danish Girl", "Joy", "Still Alice", "Cake", "Selma", "Blue Jasmine", "Nebraska", "Twelve Years A Slave", "Boyhood", "August - Osage County", and "Wild".

Not a huge TV watcher. Pretty addicted to "The Good Wife". "Masters of Sex" is pretty riveting. I enjoy some reality shows as well as HGTV..

Musically I am all over the place. I love that music can match any mood, and the powerful place it holds in our lives.

A random sample - Phil Collins, Sigur Ros, Tori Amos, Sarah M, Duncan Sheik, Lucius, Wilco, Madonna, Alanis, Beck, Alicia Keys, Autumn Defense, Bjork, Shara Worden, Coldplay, and Dave Matthews. Classical is also up there. I love anything with the piano.
I still listen to the radio.. WQXR and NPR top the list.

When it comes to food, fresh, flavorful and organic top the list. Italian, Middle Eastern, Greek and Thai are favorites.
The six things I could never do without
- Hope and optimism
- The smell of my garden
- Coffee (strong, black, and without sugar)...
- Wine (red and white)
- A camera and my iPhone (they are one and the same)
- Mass MOCA (innovative art in general)
- Music
- The High Line
- Western Massachusetts
- Physical fitness in some form

Math was never a strong point..
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How much sleep would it take for me to erase the deficit I have been creating for years.

Remembering to laugh often and loudly.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either relaxing at home over dinner and a glass of wine, maybe enjoying a movie somewhere, hanging with friends, or up in the mountains.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm an open book, go ahead and ask.

I'm a naturally hairy guy and I like the same..
You should message me if
You are receptive to chemistry and possibilities.
You prefer face to face connections over virtual ones.
