I am awesome, Stamosic, and hungry-like-the-wolf.
My Self-Summary
I am a member of a rare and dying breed: the
nice guy. I'm not being presumptuous or
anything just confident. I'm open and honest to a fault and I put
other people's needs before my own.
I graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in
Computer Graphics
design. I trained in many various areas of interactive design.
I specialize in
3-D modeling and
animation. There is something amazing to be said for
transforming ordinary everyday objects into lively movable
characters. I find myself constantly trying to push the boundary
between virtual and real reality, so half the time I suppose I live
in my daydreams. The other half I'm grounded and serious.
(mostly)
I have many interests ranging from movies, music, reading and
Anime, to athletics and fitness. I am somewhat of an amateur
comedian as well. My sense of humor is a bit unconventional with
mild precipitous sarcasm laced in cynicism. My impressions are
usually spot on and make everybody fall over laughing. I accredit
that to my keen observational skills, quick wit, charming
personalit...hah I can't even get through typing that without
laughing. I'm an auditory learner. Many learn the world through
tactile or visual retentive tendencies, but I
see without seeing.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a freelance graphic designer. I work for clientele on anything
from animated shorts or web and logo design to print work. I even
do a little 3-D animation when the situation calls for it. I'm
training myself and building my portfolio to be good enough for
places like Dreamworks and Pixar.
I'd ultimately like to direct an animation at the twilight of my
career and create my own project with unlimited creative
control.
In my spare time (assuming I have any) I work on my web comic,
draw, paint in mostly oil and watercolor,
workout with free
weights and swim for exercise. Oh and if anyone reading this is
a gifted writer and would like to try their hand at comic writing,
most of my stuff comes out verbose and convoluted as is clearly
evident in this profile description!
I’m really good at
I speak 3 languages fairly well, Spanish, French, and Japanese. I
am learning to speak Hebrew as well. If you nudge me a little I
know a little Klingon as well, (not really although it does sound
vaguely familiar to Hebrew/Yiddish or German hmmmm might be worth
checking into.)
I swim competitively, have been doing it since I was 6 years old. I
have an affinity for water and hydro-related activities. I also
kayak,
canoe,
surf,
water-ski, basically I'll try
anything on the water at least once and usually enjoy it;).
I play chess, I draw portraits for practice and have gotten quite
skilled with a graphite stick.
I excel at
Character design. I can model
almost lifelike characters based on myself and my friends. I like
to incorporate things from my personal life into my designs as
traditions like the humanists and renaissance artists follow.
The first things people usually notice about me

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I am also a behaviorist. I sometimes study the various quirks that
people have and use them to understand how they think. I think body
language and even day to day activities can say a lot more about a
person than what they tell you out right in a casual
conversation.
finding my soul mate, my next story line or animation, work,

On a typical Friday night I am
Working. Hanging out with my friends, going to movies, playing
video games, bowling, laser tag, etc. Also I spend some time at the
masters swim club preparing for meets. In New York a group of
friends and I used to go to a bubble tea room and sit the whole
night conversing with the locals and drawing with a joke-critique
after someone finished one. And once in a while I'll go out on a
date or two.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have a
GREAT
origin story. Ask me if you're interested.
I'm a mystery. Get to know me yourself.
You should message me if
you're bored, you need a good laugh and you don't take life too
seriously.
You like a good story.
If you share my interests. And you think Bruce Campbell is the
greatest B-movie actor alive, or you know what
homo-superior means.
