Okay, so after I posted that in my self-summary I think I was rejected by a promising OKC match, and so let me elaborate a little more. Yes, I enjoy Limp Bizkit. I also enjoy the minimalist composers like John Adams, Steve Reich, and Philip Glass. Lately I've found that instrumental music is great while running on forest trails, yesterday I was listening to the soundtrack to the Fountain by the Kronos Quartet and Mogwai and it was, to put it snobbishly, sublime.
But I love Limp Bizkit too. The guitar work is pretty incredible, there's this cool juxtaposition between Wes Borland being a KISS-like pagan axe-wielder and Fred Durst being a redneck workingman that is reality in the United States with the dumbshit lyrics that are upfront, and which I can relate to because when you're trying to get something to work in the real world you run into frustrations because that's what being human is all about. Not everyone can float on a cloud like U2 and Bono.
