My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I know its cliche, but I'm a laid back guy who prefers intimate house parties to clubs. I love to have meaningless existential conversations, watch movies, eat food I haven't made, discuss the importance of shoelaces, and write stories I never finish. I enjoy playing video games just for the girls *sarcasm*. I'm currently reading Catch-22 and loving it (update: just finished it and it was amazing). I'm also a huge fan of all things subversive yet heartfelt. I don't understand music, but I can't live without it. I like to describe myself as a cynical optimist, though I'm not quite sure what it means. I have a morbid aversion to writing about myself which you probably have already noticed.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Man, my profile needs an update. Anyway, I've been in Tuscaloosa for 2 years now. I have a part-time restaurant job with which I'm not too satisfied. Just transferred to UA and starting classes as a second semester Junior in August, majoring in English with a minor in Business.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Trivia games, procrastinating, super smash bros. brawl, failing to whistle in key, writing (sort of), remembering funny dreams.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know. Maybe that I'm Mexican? Wait a minute, I know what it is. They notice I'm a cyborg, right?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite Comedies: Arrested Development, all things Louie CK, Drawn Together, Community, The Big Lebowski

Favorite Dramas: The Wire, Battlestar Galactica, Breaking Bad, Les Miserables (the book, not the musical), The Picture of Dorian Gray, Slaughterhouse Five, Inception, House of Leaves

The music I like is all over the place. Right now its vacillating between Menomena and classic Mo-Town.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Mango smoothies
2. Storytelling
3. Nintendo
4. Batman
5. A Mattress
6. My friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to write my magnum opus, whether or not its important to know what the word taciturn means, and what the hell I'm doing in life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Chilling with friends, watching South Park, drinking out on my buddy's balcony in DC, and maybe walking to a bar to take in a little nightlife. This, of course, is what I used to do before I moved. I still hang out with friends, just not in DC.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cried in the theater during Toy Story 3. If only Pixar didn't make good movies.

I guess there's one more thing I should say that you wouldn't know from the picture. I have a form of CP that affects my left arm and leg. Its a relatively minor case, but I do limp and I'm not the fastest walker. Its not really a private thing; anybody who meets me in person can easily notice it. But online, and especially on a dating site, I feel its best to let anyone know who might actually still be interested after reading my poorly constructed intro.
You should message me if

you want someone who is genuinely kind. If you are a chill girl who enjoys any or all forms of geekiness, could teach me something new, and wouldn't mind a guy who can't dance a lick. You should really message me if you recognize the phrase Eyes of a Blue Dog from your dreams or are interested enough to google it.

According to this site, my personality sucks. It actually says I'm less literary which is utter bullshit. So, if you, like me, don't put that much stock in these general questions meant to define us, that's another reason to message me.

One more thing, I know its not traditional, but if you are interested after reading all of this, please let me know. I try my best to do the same when reading yours, but sometimes I over-think things and convince myself not to message. All in all, I can still be shy at times.
