My Self-Summary
I'm 26, I live in Denton, I like philosophy, and I care about the
environment (and I'm a vegan), and I (like almost everyone) love
music! Yeah.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm finishing my MA thesis while starting PhD coursework in
Philosophy. My main focus is Environmental Hermeneutics (if you
don't know what that is, it's ok... I don't either). And I teach
various intro-level Philosophy classes at UNT. I really just want
to be a professor for the rest of my life.
I’m really good at
making really lame jokes that shouldn't be funny, and yet somehow
are. It's a gift.
The first things people usually notice about me
recently is my hair, because I dyed it recently. Besides that, it's
usually my eyes or my lip ring (updating this made me realize how
old my pictures are).
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Dune Chronicles, Harry Potter, A Series of Unfortunate
Events, His Dark Materials, The Sea Wolf.
Movies: Donnie Darko, Pirates trilogy, Fight Club.
Music: Thrice, The Mars Volta, stuff like that.
Food: Almost anything Vegan, really.

The six things I could never do without
Friends, Family, Books, Music, Drums, Water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
random things, I guess, really.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with friends, usually just drinking and playing darts
and having good conversation, every now and then running around at
local shows.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
is that I've been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I'm a
little sad because within a week I'll have finished all seven
seasons.
