Q: What turns you off?
A: i'm turned off most by guys who try to be someone they aren't. and, i guess like most women would say, i'm turned off [by] dishonesty, manipulation, narcissism, and greed.
Q: Why don't you have a boyfriend?
A: why don't i have a b/f? that's a funny question. there are quite a few reasons. i move around a lot, and a lot of guys don't want long-distance relationships when i leave; bad timing doesn't help. i dated [a guy i was really into] earlier this year but had to move two months later for grad school. i'm also hesitant to start something that i suspect isn't going to go anywhere for whatever reason (that includes long-distance relationships). finally, i have spent a lot of my 20's being super busy with school and work (e.g. i worked three jobs earlier this year and last year, and i went to school), so i don't have time to go out and meet people (besides on public transit which isn't ideal). i'm trying to change that. i [actually] think being in grad school as a full-time student this year has helped that aspect. i feel like i have a social life now, but i'll be moving again after i graduate in june (back to st. louis... i'm in cali now, finishing up a masters program).

A: i've only been to one other country outside the u.s.--canada. i visited banff in alberta, which was absolutely beautiful... right smack in the canadian rockies. i've traveled to and spent time in numerous u.s. locations: ar, ca, co, ct, d.c., il, ks, ma, mi, mn, mo, nc, nm, nv, ny, oh, pa, ri, tn... i think that's all of them. i plan to travel the rest of north america and the world in the future!
