My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
absurd, a bit of a weirdo, kind of a freak, obsessed with consciousness & technology (because it’ll most certainly enable our ultimate doom or salvation). I love film & music (listening to a lotta nina simone, laura nyro, and thelonious this month).

One day in the not-too-distant future I hope to be talented enough to make something like this: So fuckin inspirational.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
For funds I freelance editing crummy tv-shows & designing motion graphics for broadcast. Once I've got me some decent savings I quit fuckin around with that bullshit and get down to business: working on my own psychedelic video art projects and studying the advanced techniques necessary to use in these fuckers. (you'd be surprised how long it takes to establish baseline competence in 3d animation, or to learn to use a 3d game engine to make an interactive art piece).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
compuduh machines,
helping people solve their neuroses-based problems (*highly experienced*),
keeping cool as a cucumber in spicy situations
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably the curly hair, somewhat disheveled state, and sleep-deprivation-induced dark sunken eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

A sampling of some things I quite dig:

BOOKS: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Prometheus Rising, Naked Lunch, The Crying of Lot 49, Fear & Loathing on the Campaign Trail, The Doors of Perception

MOVIES: The Holy Mountain, Videodrome, Waking Life, Blade Runner, Once Upon a Time in the West, Barton Fink, Blue Velvet

MUSIC: Love, Neil Young, Charles Mingus, Van Morrison, Lou Reed, Little Feat, CCR, Tom Waits, Sonic Youth, Nick Cave, Dead Kennedys, T. Rex, Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, X, Thelonious Monk, Suicide, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Prince

FOOD: Indian, Korean, Mexican, Italian, Turkish, Japanese/Sushi, Thai, pretty much anything delicious
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This question is putting me in a real dark place - maybe I'm just tired, but it's got me imagining all my favorite things being murdered or burned up and then asking myself, "hm, could I go on living if that happened? ...well, it'd be rough, but I guess I'd try to pull through... so can't put that on the list."

Why would you ask somebody a question like that? You guys are sick.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The Technological Singularity, Joseph Campbell's studies of mythology, aesthetically-induced altered states of consciousness, and the potential of altered states to inform us beyond what is possible by mere intellectual understanding alone... oh, and the mind-boggling fact that Something exists
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once was mistaken for a F2M transgender (by multiple people). To be fair, I was enjoying myself at a transgender fair, but I guess I gotta come to terms with the fact that I've got a good amount of feminine energy goin.
