My self-summary
Clean fit funny honest. Seeking mutually compatible players to live deeply, find adventure, go out and see the world as it is. Serious Inquiries, apply within.

Experienced with many interesting ways of connecting body and mind. My sexuality is a vital part of my being.

I have current relationships I value deeply, but I'm open to more, and to deeper connection, someone with whom I travel, ski, and scuba, snorkel, sail and sun.

All of my recent experiences have revealed a lot about myself. Part of this I knew was there, part is new to me. I'm a healer and a teacher, someone who can touch a heart and a body. I find myself starting a journey, surprises, abundance, sharing and all that accompanies it await.

What I’m doing with my life
I am years out a long marriage. It is a deep learning experience, and while there are moments when I look back and wonder, I'm happy moving ahead on my own.

Recent family upheavals of a different sort have really ushered in a profound sense of change, and I am finding life a more joyous adventure.

I'm grappling with work/life changes: career, relationship stuff. None of this is easy.

Work - the job I have is a mixed blessing. It pays well, but is demeaning. I don't have to push too hard, but it lacks consistent challenge.

I love teaching. I do some of that here (academically) and some away (sex workshops). I love both kinds.

And the latter, sex workshops (not what you might think...), is part of the career angst. I love giving these workshops - they are really rewarding. When I'm done, the attendees feel better about who they are as people. But... parlaying this into a career? Not easy. So do I continue the march to an advanced degree? Or side step and go in other directions?

The first things people usually notice about me
Looking good is something I now really enjoy. I dress very, ummm, differently. I get a lot of compliments! :)

If people listen, and communicate, they'll "notice" my honesty.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Just finished 'A Big Little Life' (on audioobook) - what a great story. 'Merle's Door'; Urban Tantra; 'A God of Small Things'; 'Nine Parts of Desire'; Pema Chodron 'When Things Fall Apart'; 'Hello Cruel World'; 'Opening Up'. I have a large library, and will confess.... yes, I do have a book habit.

Music: I love it all. I play music on a regular basis, and I love to sing. I'll listen to anything once, and my musical tastes are really broad. I'm not too partial to heavy rap (I find the misogyny and homophobia disturbing) and really kitschy country, but other than that, I either have or have listened to almost anything else.

Food: I love to cook, and I really love to cook for other people. It is a kind of gift I guess I just like giving. I'm very adaptable, and will often (on my own!) experiment with combinations.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
These days, it's all about change. The fear that goes with it, the excitement and anticipation of those scary changes. I'm finally coming to a place of real self actualization and it is feeling kinda right for me.

I think a lot about values, ethics and morals. It's a real puzzle at times. Human misery seems to know no bounds.

I also think a lot about emotions, feeling, and how I can help someone else be better, feel better, love themselves.

Yes, I do spend a lot of time thinking about sex - it's fun, and can be creative, and really, quite harmless when done openly and with clear communication. It is a most amazing way to connect with others.

On a typical Friday night I am
This varies a lot now. Odd, but I rarely seem to go to movies, rarely watch movies. Can't remember the last time I watched TV. Used to be a staple! No more.

Now? Let's see.... A few recent friday nights: reading; snuggling up; hot tub; cooking; puttering.

You really are real, you are open to good, honest, deep communication. I am worn out by imagined realities! I'm not a pushy person, and I look for integrity in others - I don't try and force it. If you're any of these ways, or just curious, drop a note.
