My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Nicer than I probably should be, I tend to go into more depth than breadth into things. I moved to the Pgh a few years back for a job and have been pleasantly surprised by the city ever since. Now a home and dog owner, generally happy how the world has turned ever since.

I do pickup soccer a few times a week, love homebrew, board games and have been collecting hiking and camera gear. I have too many hobbies; which I'm not sure whether that's a blessing or a curse. I like my job, I'm good at it, and recently graduated to a window cube (woohoo).

A friend once told me “Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.”, and I really like the thought process this leads you down when makign decisions. I also just realized that is an indirect Ayn Rand quote
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Problem solving.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite book is Dune. Recently reread Ender's Game and my childhood self had good taste. Anything written by Patrick Rothfuss. Game of Thrones (asoiaf) would be high on the list but the last few have lost me a bit. In a lull currently as I realized I'm waiting on books from 4 different authors to continue... (Goodreads: http://goo.gl/mi4VD)

My current favorite movie is Avengers, childhood daydreams animated pretty much. I can't bring myself to pay monthly for cable (I tend to just sit around watching cooking shows...), so I use an antenna for locals with Netflix/etc as supplement.

Metallica discography is the majority of my car cd changer, but I'm pretty eclectic overall.

A bar with plenty of taps being my favorite place to eat. Little better than a good beer, a good burger, and good company. Small local diner on a Sunday morning clocks in as close second.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Smell of coffee in the morning, the look on my dogs face when I come home, the kerchunk of a shutter flapping.

And the internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I want in/from life. Though I tend to stay focused on the task at hand (be it work or play).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Happy hour with friends, movie, or just a night in catching up on anything/everything.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think bacon as a food group is overrated, and my dog has his own bedroom.
