I am in love with... soup. Thick hearty soups. Soups loaded with vegies. Soup with potatoes. Lentil soup. Chickpea soup.

I am grooving on: onions & garlic, beans, lentils, chickpeas, spinach, carrots, a rainbow of peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, sigh.. I am practically vegetarian except that I order the added yummy value of chicken stock. Vegie stock can be wonderful but you just can't buy a good vegie stock in most grocery stores.

I am feeling tingly happy as I type this. A big pan of soups is simmering on the stove. It's naptime upstairs.

I am writing to an old friend and feeling really connected to my past & present. Best of all, my future excites me and a better job looks like it's just around the corner.
