My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
#1: I'm exploiting every social networking outlet to try to find people (YOU?) to help me start a Rock Camp for Girls* in Chattanooga. You can skip the rest (here's a summary- I'm long winded, mostly normal, I have a girlfriend already but if you wanna be friends let's party/eat something/talk about our feelings, etc.) and just send me a message! (trans*-identified and gender non-conforming youth welcomed and affirmed)

I've been in Quito, Ecuador for 4 months, and I actually have about a month and a half before I officially move back to Chatt (via Tallahassee), but I went ahead and switched my location because I'd love to start meeting some other queer/queer friendly/generally awesome folks in town! I really am just looking to make some friends (will have the girlfriend in tow. What a bummer! Just kidding). Please excuse me while I creepily friend-scope your profiles.

I support 24 hour Bingo Halls and anyone training to compete in Ping Pong for the Gay Olympics. Nothing else is really worth training for.

Adventures play a key role in my state of contentment.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a disillusioned 3 time college dropout and I've done a lot of things, from volunteering for queer/feminist organizations, working at Trader Joe's most recently (and food service, non-profits, childcare, construction, etc), to buying/exporting Yellowfin Tuna in Mexico.

I'm finishing up my time in Ecuador improving my Spanish and reaching my lifetime quota of corn and potato consumption (don't get me wrong, I love the food here. Then again, I do love all the foods).

I'm wanting to get a Rock Camp for Girls started in Chattanooga. We'll see how that pans out!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Laughing inappropriately and loudly. Over-committing myself. Spontaneously disappearing to weird places/convincing others to come with me.

My old housemate Jess has edited this to read:
She has an amazing laugh! More of a guffaw, really. She guffaws at things which don't seem that funny at first, but the guffawing will, in turn, make you guffaw.

Also, throwing 90s dance parties.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My laugh, hands down. If I'm laughing. Otherwise, my resting bitch face (don't worry, I'm actually a really nice person).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books are moving up my priority list.

TV- Online. I'm surprised I even got up to eat while recently binge-ing the second season of The Fall (heaven bless that Gillian Anderson)

I like all sorts of music. When it's live, it can be anything, and I'll probably love it. However, a note: you know the concept of manspreading? Well, I wish there were less of the music scene version of that.

I eat most things, and I spend a lot of time trying to cook things that are delicious. Too much time- don't come over hungry...better bring some chips, it'll be a while. I recently acquired a mortar and pestle that is now my #1 prized possession.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
a friend-mountains-a decent chef's knife-cheese-warm socks-9 hours of sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever project is next, gender, sexuality, travel, food, my stupid/perfect dog
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either wishing I didn't have a habit of befriending/dating old ladies who never will come adventuring with me, or working. I've decided to have a life again when I get to Chatt, so we'll see.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
1. You want to help me with Rock Camp

2. You want to speak Spanish with me, and engage in item #3

3. You want to get coffee or a beer and over-share/not care whilst I over-share (I forgot about boundaries while living in the boonies of North Florida and in Ecuador, where I spoke/speak to hardly anyone)

4. You want to go on a hike

5. You want to have food adventures

6. You want to be friends (emphasis: just friends. seriously. not in that okcupid "yeah, I'm just looking for friends right now I think...just kidding I'm going to hit on you relentlessly/let's make out" kind of way)
