Yes, I'm in a LTR with my partner of 10 (!) years, we have a kid who is incredibly important to us, and he and I are also poly. So we date people outside of our relationship. Hope that's not too confusing to you.

If it is (or even if it isn't), I'm also definitely in the market for meeting new people who want to hang out with or without kid(s), play tabletop RPG, chat about anything or nothing, ride bikes, wander the farmer's market, or whatever else strikes our fancies.

Books: Authors are way easier for me. Off the top of my head, I <3 Catherynne Valente, Neil Gaiman (though he can also say a lot of problematic shit that pisses me off), Hemingway, Nabokov, Nnedi Okorafor, Ursula Le Guin, and China Mieville. I might read a lot.

Movies/Shows: Doctor Who, Sherlock, X-Files, Twin Peaks, Serenity, Firefly, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Avengers, Mirrormask, Labyrinth...I also kind of adore older, terrible movies. Like old Godzilla dubs, Ghosbusters, Back to the Future. Terrible stuff :) Sometimes, when I'm bored, I write--gasp--fanfiction.

Music: Seven Nations, Daft Punk, Metric, Tori Amos. My all time favorite is The Mountain Goats, but I listen to a lot of music and have pretty eclectic tastes.
