My self-summary
I'M TAKEN SO DON'T BOTHER :C

I'm a creative boy who ain't going to be any one place for too long, at least for now. I'm a drop out and I lose inhibitions every day. I'm a rehabilitating mess and won't keep you in my life unless I really want you there. I'm totally smitten for someone far off right now, and am tempted to delete my account but enjoy the people I meet here. Sucker for poetry, analogue photography, adventure, outback, and survival clothing.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm lost amidst what it is to live in this modern world, trying to find a way to absorb all it's beauty and crush all it's ugliness.

I moved from Melbourne to Sydney only recently - I grew up here, but lived amidst the laneways and hipsters for 2 years. I'll be here for a shortish period of time before becoming a nomad around Australia, and working on my photography on the road.

Creativity is one of the most important things to me. If you think being a creative is not a career, that it is not hard work, or that is not a valid contribution to this society, we simply won't get along.

Otherwise, I have a passion for adventures pursuing the inspirational and epic - recent favourites have been watching the sunset from 10 stories above Melbourne CBD, swimming and scaling a waterfall, finding an abandoned personal bar along the riverside, and climbing inside an abandoned house balanced on kegs.
I’m really good at
being inspired - I'm a perpetual creator, always working on something even when I have no time at all. I'm also quite good at being honest, cherishing the people in my life, and loving them.

falling asleep in hideous places and positions, eg. naked in empty tents, wrapped in picnic blankets on your lawn, on the floor of a warehouse, in an armchair with a pipe still in my hand, in train carriages, on the floor.

I'm also really good at receiving hugs, and equally ecstatic to give them.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably how I dress, it's fucking all over the place some days, and other days I look uncomfortably sharp. I ride a bike that squeaks too much and spend too long in cafes; sometimes I'm barefoot and I like walking through the backstreets of where I live eating pizza. All of this you may notice first.

Also, everyone thinks I'm gay, to the extent where people like to try and kick me in the face, chase me down the street, throw things at me from cars, flash their penises at me, or uh... yeah, it's fucking awkward.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I went through a big reading dry patch. I have just read some Hemmingway and Camus and loved it, and in my to read pile, there is Orwell, Phillip K. Dick, Warhol, and a lot of Australian history and anthropology books. Feed me suggestions!

I like classic cinema and everything the VICE Youtube channel uploads. Also, Baraka/Samsara/Koyaanisqatsi <3

Music: focussed on but not limited to rap jazz soul folk noise electro experimental

I recently turned vegetarian, and am obsessed with coffee and Lebanese pizza is pretty great too.
The six things I could never do without
My cameras/third-eye-to-the-infinite-realm-of-light
A pen and something to write on
My wonderful family of friends who without I would surely plummet
Music - it still shocks me just how good it is
Time alone spent drinking coffee and writing in a sunny local cafe
The wilderness
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I have panic attacks at night sometimes from existential crises, oh no.
On a typical Friday night I am
cooped up in a jam session with my most wonderful friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I spend a lot of time: dancing, brushing my hair, putting my shoes on, looking at the sky, looking at light patterns, looking around, documenting things too much, etc. I'm far too honest to both my advantage and detriment.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–28
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
you feel like going on an adventure, because I love adventures - they remind me how to live within each fleeting moment!

If you know some cool Sydney places that I probably wouldn't know (I left the town before I was 18, so that gives you an idea), please show me them.

If you're interested in analogue photography, darkroom techniques, alternative printing methods, camera collecting... basically if you're a photography nerd, send me a holler - I'm happy to teach people too, all I want to do is share my passion.

If you're a creative thinker, then I'm keen to talk...

...BUT HEY I'M TAKEN SO DON'T BOTHER.
