Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The name is Sean, I love to learn and talk about facts. Most of my
interest revolve around the first half of the 20th century. I
collect and deal antiques, militaria, clocks, magazines and
anything from the time. I enjoy canoeing, fishing, cosplay,
conventions, historic reenacting, clarinet, model building,
airsoft, WW2 airsoft, antique firearms, and aviation. I would
consider myself a caring person. Despite my desire to spend most of
my free time with my significant other my job does send me out of
state one or two weeks a every couple months, I would keep in daily
contact though. I prefer a woman who keeps their friends on a very
tight small scale basis. Daily communication is critical to
By no means would I consider myself cheap or money hungry but I
like talking about how to use and build finances and resources.
Money making and resource generation from hobbies, estate sales,
and small mom and pop shop business is exciting to me. If you are
into the idea of wheeling and dealing wares and are up for hitting
flea markets, estate sales, and swap meets you and I are going to
work just fine.
In regards to "fun" I am atypical in this aspect compared to most
of my peers. Most of what I do embraces reality. What I mean by
this is that everything I do or indulge in has happened, is
happening, or could happen in the real world. Video games for
instance, I play games like ArmA, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and
L.A. Noire. These video games are heavily influenced and based upon
real world events and/or with authentic physics and mechanics. My
hobbies, lets pick model aviation. I will take a model airplane
based upon a real world design and finish it with a color scheme
that is accurate to a real world aircraft. I even get to the point
that I modify the structure of models to make them more authentic
to their full scale counterparts.
From an Artistic standpoint I like art that is influenced or based
upon real world events, objects, or struggles. Full Metal Alchemist
for example Yes, the anime and the idea of alchemy is flawed with
many loopholes but I enjoy the setting of 1910 in this made up
world. There are many real world political influences of central
and eastern Europe during real world World War I. -MORE TO BE ADDED
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently an employee of Duke Energy. I manage members of our
team to document our project. It sends me out of state here and
there but it pays well. At this point in my life I have self taught
majority of my practical skills I use in the workplace. Never
underestimate the power of self education!
I plan on hitting a trade/tech school when I am not so busy at
work. Hopefully this will be within the next year.
On the side I restore antique aircraft parts for flying and display
aircraft. Another source of income is the fact I buy and sell game
systems and antiques.
