An eternal optimist, I always try to see the brighter side and have some fun. In contrast to that my sense of humour can often be equal parts dark and dry. This includes enjoying a good pun now and then.
I have a love for Nature and its denizens and immerse myself in it as much as possible. It's my version of going to church, and where I feel the most spiritual.
I enjoy listening to and making music of all varieties, and often hum, sing or whistle quietly to myself. Unless I'm alone in the car, then all bets are off! I've gone to the Winnipeg Folk Festival for many years, volunteering for Campground First Aid the last three, and often travel to see acts I enjoy.
My friends and family are awesome, and I love them all. I spend a lot of time visiting and hanging out with people, and as an extrovert I'm almost always up for a coffee. Though you may catch me lambasting the Human Race now and then(Ok, frequently), I try to see the best in people.
The Earth is a huge and interesting place, and traveling is always on the agenda somewhere. Canada is beautiful and just as important on my list of places to explore as any other. I've lived and worked in BC several times, once in Victoria and once at Big White. There are many places I will go in my life, and so far it's been limited to England, Mexico, and all over the USA and Canada.
The people I enjoy most are those who have a great sense of humour and don't shy away from intellectual conversation.
