My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an activist and acupuncturist who just graduated from school. Social justice medicine, especially for queer and trans people, is what I am most excited about. I am planning on staying in Portland and making things less shitty here, however I can.

I am ethically non monogamous and at the moment I am mostly looking for a primary partner. I will happily go on dates with nice people who are partnered, but I feel most excited about finding people who do not have a primary partner already in their lives (or who want to discuss the complex moral and ethical implications of "primary/secondary" relationships). I am not trying to use polyamory to avoid having serious relationships. I believe that having some freedom to continue to explore strengthens relationships over time.

I am also much more amorously-inclined toward women than men, so if you are a lovely man looking for a serious boyfriend I am probably not your guy.

When I say that I am serious about an "other" religion what I mean is that I am a big old witch and a faerie. Just in case you were like "OMG is he a Mormon or something?!" A trans Mormon really would be something, but no.

Oh yeah, I'm trans. I look like a man, and in many ways I am, but I am also a butch and a person with female experience. Shit is complicated. Isn't it always?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
healing all of the shit ever. working on writing gender theory, and also a novel, and getting my poetry published. Starting a queer and trans health center. Dreaming big dreams about a better world and manifesting some of those dreams into being. Having fun along the way.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Books: I read lot. Lately I'm really into Nnedi Okorafor, David Graeber, Jacqueline carey, Cheryl Strayed, Taiye Selasi, Chris Hayes, Jack Weatherford, Elizabeth Gilbert.... you get the idea.

Music: eclectic. Brand New, Bjork, Alanis Morissette, Circa Survive, Delerium, Mediaeval Baebes, U2, Blackstar, Patrick Wolf, Lydia, Invincible, Suzanne Vega, Tori Amos, Grimes, Sleater-Kinney, Andreya Triana, Dredge, Pelican, Mastodon, Kaki King, Tegan and Sara, Leigh Nash, Bonobo, Emancipator, The Roots, etc

Movies: Shortbus, Mean Girls, But I'm a Cheerleader!, Frida, The Fountain

TV: Buffy, Angel, Dollhouse, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Xena, Archer

Food: I like most food, I'm not gonna lie. I have been vegetarian and vegan at various times, and now I love to eat animals. Boycotting animal eating will not end industrial capitalism, it turns out.
