Came down from Leeds to North London 7 years ago. In my heart of hearts I probably still think of myself as from Yorkshire (especially after our awesome olympic medal haul), but I'm slowly acclimatizing. The weather is much better down south though, which helps.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At the moment my key quest is to be able to break through the v4 barrier at climbing. Stuck on a tedious plateau.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
maths, but I got bored of it during my masters. I started managing a casino and realised it was more fun to get out into the cut and thrust of the real world.

I can also memorize song lyrics very well, and have the habit of singing along to songs at gigs. Unfortunately something bad happens between my brain and my mouth so I'm well out of tune. Don't stand in front of me at a gig! It's a useful skill for a pub quiz though.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Wolf eyes.

I read a lot. Some normal fi, some sci-fi. I love a good dystopia - just finished reading Margaret Attwood's Oryx and Crake trilogy. Also chewing through Irvine Welsh's and JG Ballard's back catalogues.

Dance music is for dancing to. Indie is for when you are chilling at home or at a gig. Indie clubs make very little sense to me! I don't want to make a mega list of music I like as I'll miss out loads of important stuff, but
- at Glastonbury I went to see Fuck Buttons instead of The Rolling Stones.
- the last gig I went to was Bob Log iii.
- the best thing I saw at Glastonbury was Metallica. AAA rating - prizes if you can guess what the three A's stand for.
- I like the XX.
- my favorite Fabric mix is by Surgeon.
- High Contrast b2b Shy Fx b2b Ed Rush and Optical at Arcadia - YES PLEASE.

I like food.

Generally too busy for tv shows / movies.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My kindle.
My climbing shoes.
Shambala Festival.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the best combination of treats to liven up my morning porridge. Raspberries, blackberries, honey and cashew nuts is winning at the moment. ROCK AND FUCKING ROLL.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
drinking with friends - pub / cocktail bar etc. Usually in bed by 4am. Every so often we go out raving hard and it's much later and more... energetic.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Whenever there's a massive queue behind me for the automatic supermarket checkout machines I count my pennies into them.

you like me, you want to meet and you are up for a laugh. Probably best if you are pretty hardcore too. Pretty and hardcore ideally.

Or you want a game of chess.
