My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I recently moved from Texas to the Antelope Valley in north LA county. The A.V. isn’t the easiest place in the world to meet single women if you don’t wear Tapout t-shirts and flat-brimmed hats, so thought I’d give this a try.

On that note, if you’re looking for a wannabe cage fighter with tribal tattoos and a lifted truck (brodozer), you should probably stop reading. I’m a lover, not a fighter!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Maximizing financial and physical fitness. :)

My career is really important to me. I'm a design engineer at an aerospace company, and it's a job I've wanted to do since I was a little kid drawing airplanes on the wall with a box of crayons (sorry, Mom...). I’ve been with my company for 10 years, and I love my job. It would be great to find a girl who is understanding when I have to work late, or an occasional weekend.

The gym is also a huge part of my life. I’ve been working out religiously since before I could grow facial hair, and I can’t imagine life without the gym. The time commitment can sometimes be significant, and it would be great to find a girl that doesn’t take offense when I need to do my thing at the gym.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Solving problems, managing investments, moving heavy things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My name. For better or for worse, I share it with a former NBA star. Other than that, people usually notice that I keep enough whey protein stashed within reach to feed all of the American Gladiators for a year. Seriously, my office looks like a supplement store.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I’m not really into fiction, but The Catcher in the Rye, Brave New World, and 1984 are a few that struck a chord with me. Freakonomics is easily my favorite non-fictional book. It may sound boring but I promise you it will change the way you look at EVERYTHING!

I love anything that makes you laugh or makes you think. …As long as wizards and comic-book characters aren’t involved!

Alright… I’ll go, if you make me.

I have very broad taste when it comes to music: Pop, Rock, Hip-hop, Electronic – from all the different eras. I like the best artists from every genre, and it would be excruciating for me to try to put together a short list because I'd never be able to decide which to exclude! Country is pretty much the only genre that I don’t voluntarily subject myself to. …And even that reminds me of home, so I can tolerate it in small doses.

I like everything but what I don’t like, haha.. Fortunately, that’s pretty easily defined! I don’t eat fungus (take a look at the things it grows on), or invertebrates (they’re all bugs to me). That means no mushrooms, lobster, crab, squid, oysters, shrimp, cockroaches, etc. Feel free to load up your plate, but I’m not touching them!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family
2. Friends
3. Females
4. Fun
5. Financial Independence
6. Protein Powder
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Maximizing fun and happiness during my time on earth and finding someone special to share it with. ...And making sure I don't run out of protein powder.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hitting the gym early, then living life to its fullest. …Which usually involves leaving the Antelope Valley for Hollywood or Vegas. Still, as much as I love going to parties, bars and clubs with my friends, I would be perfectly content staying in and watching a movie with someone I cared about if that's what she wanted to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm terrified of pickles.

...Just kidding.

You’re looking for more than a penpal. :) It’s customary to send a few emails back and forth first, but you’re never REALLY going to know if you’re compatible with someone until you meet them in person!
