I am super sarcastic, bored, and geeky.

My Self-Summary

I'm a big hermit but also pretty sociable if I like you. To get money, I make websites for a development company. The work is fun when there's actually stuff to do, but being 1.5 hours from a normal city is a big pain in the ass. I refuse to go outside more than necessary in the winter, but during good weather I'm always out partaking in one my various, albeit predictable hobbies.

I am a huge geek and not ashamed of it one bit. I wear shirts with video games and zombies on them. I subscribe to New Scientist and sometimes read quantum physics, evolutionary biology, and pathology books for fun. I have action figures on display in my computer room. I own more movies and games then some Blockbusters probably.

I live in a pretty lame small college town, so I'm older than the general dating pool in this area. I'll always be a kid at heart, though. I definitely don't look my age and on a normal day, I don't act it either, hehe. I haven't seriously dated much recently so it's not like I have this whole thing figured out and know exactly what I'm looking for. Smart and funny are an absolute must. I'm a witty/sarcastic ass and I need someone who can keep up.

What I’m doing with my life

It's finally nice outside, yay! I got a new puppy last month so my free time has drastically been reduced. He's pretty damn cool though.

So what do I like to do? In no particular order:

Video games - Yeah, yeah I know, I've heard it all before.

Drinking - I am a bona fide beer snob. Well, I thought I was until I started going to beer fests this year. If you can open it without a bottle opener, I'll probably make fun of it. I enjoy the good microbrew or cocktail and sitting around with my neighbors.

Grilling out - I love making up random recipes and seeing what it turns into. By "recipes," I mean "throwing shit on top of meat." I couldn't start my own tv show, but I know what I'm doing more than the average bear. I've finally made the transition to charcoal this year.

Golfing - I just started and am absolutely horrible, but it's a fun time nonetheless.

I’m really good at

Grilling out, making people laugh, and juggling the ten remotes in my living room.

The first things people usually notice about me

Probably my white legs after the winter. Or maybe my dimples... Who knows?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The last three books I've read were Watchmen, World War Z, and Glamorama. If I listed recent movies, I'd have to update this thing every day.

As for favorites...

Books: The Great and Secret Show by Clive Barker, Story of B by Daniel Quinn

Movies: All horror and most comedy, so a horror comedy is even better (see: Troma movies)

Music: Metal and the various sub-genres within (speed, thrash, death, gore). Slayer is obviously the best.

Food: Pretty much anything. I try and eat organic, but I'm not anal about it.

The six things I could never do without

Video games, my TV, the internet, beer, anything and everything to do with hygiene, and the St. Louis Cardinals

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I don't know, stuff. I'm pretty much thinking to myself all day and night about whatever random subject pops up. It gets frustrating sometimes. By frustrating, I mean sometimes it takes me over an hour to fall asleep because my thought processes won't shut up.

On a typical Friday night I am

Watching movies, playing video games, drinking, hanging out with friends

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

In this box? Yeah right. I'm pretty open about the majority of my thoughts, opinions, and life stories.
