I actually don't watch a whole lot of TV. I like to multitask so TV
is more of the background noise while I surf the internet or
crochet. We don't have cable so I've spent the whole summer
enjoying PBS cooking shows and travel documentaries. Rick Steves is
Mel Brooks films (Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, etc), the
occasional genuinely funny comedy, inept movies that aren't
self-aware about it, Zombieland, Yellow Submarine, superhero
flicks, doofy action movies... I like escapist movies for the most
part. Too big of a wuss for horror movies. Definitely NOT a fan of
most romantic comedies. Except Moulin Rouge, my sole girly guilty
The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Styx, Journey, REO Speedwagon,
Jethro Tull, Barenaked Ladies, Boston, Sonata Arctica (Finnish
power metal), Nightwish (also), Coheed and Cambria, and many other
bands that died or broke up before I was born.
Oh I love me some food. I love all kinds of cuisines and I'm
learning how to cook a variety of different things. I will try
pretty much everything once. I like to choose a new cuisine or a
new restaurant and go on a "food adventure" every so often.
