First things first - I apologize in advance, but if you send me a message containing more than one grammatical error e.g. "Your/You're", "There/They're/Their" used incorrectly, I won't respond. It's nothing personal, I just don't want to get to know you.

I've lived in Boise, Idaho for eight years now. I love this time of year, here. The leaves, the crisp air. I think I'm going to start running again.
I've also lived in Portland, Ore. and Los Lunas, NM. I really miss the northwest, so I try to get to the Oregon coast at least once a year.

I love reading, and I have a vast appreciation for language, literature, and really great puns (I think they're the most advanced form of humor).

I have two animals; Alena, and Ice Cream Sandwich. They're both chinchillas, and they're absolutely adorable. I read that they can live up to twenty years. Mostly they just eat and poop.

I play a lot of video games. I'm not talking Solitaire here, nor brainless first person shooters. I enjoy obscure Japanese roleplaying games, adventure games (Sam & Max, Monkey Island), word games (Scrabble), and platformers (Little Big Planet). I cut my teeth on Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy at the age of 5 or 6. I have a King Slime tattoo.

I kind of want to go back to college, maybe get a degree in English Lit. It was my favorite subject all through school.

I don't think I'm ready to date right now, and I'm not sure when I will be.

Awkward humor; the more awkward, the better. I know I've accomplished something when I've left someone speechless. I tend to put my foot in my mouth a lot, but I'm okay with it - it tastes like hilarious.

I laugh really really loudly.

MOVIES: anything by wong kar-wai. breakfast at tiffany's, roman holiday, the nightmare before christmas.

FOOD: anything with potatoes.
