I sometimes feel like my picture could be put in the dictionary next to the definition of "geek" - I like learning for its own sake. My one regret in life is not going to college when I was right out of high school (somewhere my guidance counselor or her ghost is saying I TOLD YOU SO!)

However, I still enjoy just reading and Internet exploring and talking to other people just for the sake of finding things out. I'm currently in the midst of an ongoing separation/divorce after 12 years of marriage and re-entering the dating scene after a long absence. Right now, I would just appreciate some on-line communication and maybe a meet-up later if things work out.

Anyone who actually enjoys using their mind, enjoys New York City and wants to get to know someone new should drop me a line.

And now at the risk of dropping a bombshell - I first created this profile when my husband and I were discussing separation/divorce. I chatted online with a few people, and my husband and I reconciled and I didn't visit here for awhile. And then my husband died suddenly (blood clot in the artery leading to his heart, he was 62).

Needless to say, I was shocked, but I'm back here again. I'm posting this to be totally honest.
