I rarely lose my keys. I often lose my phone when I'm at home. I think headbands are cool, but not likely to make a comeback. I'm terrible at racing games, unless it's on a rainbow road. When I retire, I want a pink golf car, with a wet-bar installed in the back. I enjoy my autonomy. I freaking LOVE swimming, especially sprints, but an open-water mile is fun too. Costumes are just plain fun. My favorite color is green. I'm a bike and a sense of balance away from being a triathlete. I'm suspicious of the government. I'm proud of the LGBTQPIA community. I love rabbits.

Also, I have herpes; it sucks, but it's reality, and it's important to me that I'm honest. I know that makes it unlikely that I'll ever meet someone, but here's to hoping.

I'm transitioning. I was a master carpenter for a theater for two years, but I lost my job for a really stupid reason, which was retrospectively one of the best days of my life; I've since learned to smile again, have time for my friends, eat healthily, exercise, and enjoy life. It's nice to have a life again, and I'm looking for a job that will support that.

I think I'll head back to school soon, either to pursue scenic design, playwrighting, law, or nursing. I'd also really like to be an editor or The Playboy of the Western World.

Does reading count? I am very good at being clumsy...until I've had too much to drink; then I could sachet my way across a tightrope in eight inch heels.

I also love mixed media art, and while I would not say that I am good at it, I try. I'm also a fairly good scenic artist; nobody can carve and paint foam like this guy.

Definitely my laugh; it's a head-turner for sure. People who know me use it as a homing device; people who don't wonder where the ambulance is. Otherwise, my distinctive over-pronunciation of p's, b's, and t's gets commented on often. Or that I'm wearing multiple shades of green; according to a costume designer I worked with once, there are no shades of green that clash with each other, but I think I've proven her wrong.

Books: I like SciFi/Fantasy a lot. But I'll read just about anything, besides romance novels. I'm chipping my way through a biology textbook about sexual diversity in nature right now, but also enjoying Les Liasons Dangereuses. Most LGBTQIA literature, Dan Savage and Gregory MaGuire ("The Kid" and "Son of a Witch" are two of my favorite books), Mary Renault and Harry Potter, and all sorts of sordid plays.

Movies: Again, I like things with a fantastic twist to them; be that Willow, to District 9, to anything and everything Batman. I really enjoy the tv series Bones; I love me some Temperance Brennan!

Music: A little bit of everything, although my Pandora play list is mostly dance music...I have the song "Don't Trust Me" stuck in my head all the time. That, and "Total Eclipse of the Heart". My essentials are Cake, Queen, and Kelly Clarkson, but I've been cycling through some random things recently, like Frightened Rabbit, Imperial Teen, TMBG, LMFAO, Electric Six, and Jefferson Airplane...and I love musicals...

Food: Jalapeño and pineapple pizza. Small bowls of spicy noodles. Grilled cheese, with real cheese. Nerf bread. Anything that needs to state that it doesn't have MSG. MSG. Croque Madames. Bacon. Anything with rum in it. Salads with blue cheese dressing...and rum. Nothing with nuts; I'm ironically allergic to them.

Well, friends and family of course. And all those things essential to physical existence. Happiness and laughter. The internet, to be shallow. Cigs and booze, to be honest.

What to do next: be that party, work, take a shower, find my pants, or call my mother. I'm also in the midst of finding a new job, so there's a lot of numbers crunching in my head, making sure I can make end's meet. How to improve my open-water swim stroke; for some reason, I'm much faster in a pool than a lake, and I've gotta figure that out.

I also dream about Legos a lot...

Either going to the bar or chilling with my roommate; it depends on the kind of week I've had.

If Adam West proposed to me today, I would say yes. No questions asked. Especially if we could get married in the Batcave. Yep, I think that was the first fantasy I ever had.
