Hi! I'm Mike. I'm hopelessly romantic, very intelligent (if I say
so myself) and looking for a mate. I like music, languages, science, playing chess, walks on the beach and

rain, things like that. I play four musical instruments (oboe,
bassoon, piano, recorder) and can pass on the flute, though I'd
probably need a fingering chart. I like to have fun, so if you're
too serious, please don't bother.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently in college, attending Central Connecticut State
University as a physics major. After my master's and doctorate, I
hope to go into research, either in the field of astrophysics or
string theory.

I am very good at music, including playing instruments, singing,
and composing.
I am very good at languages - I like to learn them, and I pick them up easily. I speak French pretty well, and I know a fair amount of Russian and Esperanto. I know bits and pieces of Spanish, German, Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Welsh, Swahili...
I am good at writing. I have excellent grammar, and my vocabulary is enormous. Whether prose or poetry, my writing skills are formidable.
This isn't exactly something I can say that I'm "really good at," but I'm very flexible. I can almost do a full split, and I can put my foot behind my head. I can also touch my tongue to my nose, but I can't lick my elbow, though I know someone who can.

Favorite movies: Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter (except the fourth one, they ruined it), My Fair Lady, the Sound of Music, Stardust, Some Like It Hot, the Birdcage, Amelie, Persepolis
Favorite music: Classical and showtunes! Keep that rap away from me... I also like jazz.
Favorite food: Pizza, Chinese, Mexican, Desserts, Apples, Mangos, anything tasty - no coconuts, and little to no onions.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
School, science, friends, music, finding my true love (which seems
to be way too hard to do), really anything that can hold my
interest.
On a typical Friday night I am
If i'm anything, it's not typical. I could be lazing in my dorm, I
could be hanging with friends, I could be in rehearsal for a play,
